Hi, I've just bought a 2nd hand xt3 and after checking the firmware version on it it reads 4.3! Therefore there are several updates to be carried out. Do they all need to be updated 1 by 1? Also I tried downloading 4.3 and 4.4 and they seem to show the same dat number (19), somehow that doesn't seem correct! Any suggestions please?

As far as i know you just do the last one as its the full package.. but i would contact fuji if your not sure

well I've tried to update the firmware using my Mac and it fails every time because it says it cannot copy or write the download to the sd card. anyone know what im doing wrong please
with Mac i cant help sorry, but i will find out for you. if your on facebook give me a shout ill help where i can
@@paulcomptonpdphotography Thanks Paul but eventually got it done by using a card reader rather than putting the sd card directly into the Mac. Guess its one of those apple things

Hi Paul, Just wanted to let you know that the Fujifilm app for your cell phone will advise you of any firmware updates for your cameras body, and it will automatically download and update your camera, without the need of a computer. This means that you can update your firmware wherever you are. Not sure if it works for lenses. Bob

Thanks for clear instructions. Today I updated XT1 body, all fine. I then updated the lense. I sent the file to formatted SD card, but have the same issue saying not found. I have gone through the process trying different SD cards just in case it's the card . Still no joy ..

You must download it again from the web site make sure its the official fuji site, put your SD card in the camera and then take it out put the file onto the card direct to the card (Not in a folder) and then put the card back in the camera, there is no reason why this would not show up.. just make sure you change nothing on the file name
Can you please tell me how can I check the shutter count of my fuji xt2? I’ve tried several times but I failed.
sorry i cant help you on shutter count, and lets face it you dont really need to on mirrorless cameras

They are both fine now, since i made this video.. If you can transfer the date from your ipad to the memory card then i dont see why not

it is yes, its just how you access the menu
To be honest, when I saw you rename the DAT file with the version name inside, I had doubts right there but I was not sure what it would do but not surprised it did not work ;)

If you download the fuji app and link it to your camera via bluetooth it will automatically update your firmware its very easy to do
