The round circles where used after harvesting grains. The farmers would thresh the bundles of grains with the help of donkeys. Amorgos used to be my absolute paradise island. I spent many summers there when I was still living in Europe. I haven't been back in over 20 years now. Thank you for sharing some of my biggest love on this planet!

Not usually a fan of vlogs but my family really enjoys yours - we have watched all your Greek island ones. We take our fourth island-hopping trip later this year to Santorini, Koufonissi, Donoussa, Paros and Antiparos.

Of course the Ionian islands are greener cause of the humidity of the Western part. Dodecanese too especially the history of the glory kastellorizo, or Patmos, the northern aegean part, Peloponnese is magnifficent such as Monenvasia, Nafplion, the beaches of Ilia, Mani , in Epirus Zagorohoria, Syvota and Parga, Ioannina, in Thessalia the wonderful mountain of Pelion (villages and beaches), Plastira lake, Meteora, Skiathos,Skopelos and Alonissos islands in Macedonia Kastoria, Olympus riviera, Chalkidi, Holy Mt Athos, Kavala, Serres,Thassos island and the rivers, in Western Thrace Ksanthi and Dasia forests. Even Attica has many beauties and close to attica like the northern part of Euboea, Arachova,Parnassos,Messolongi, Karpenisi...haha many places different mood, different people.

What a stunningly pretty place. And a great video. Keep it up, guys! This year in July I visited the islands of Kos, Patmos, Kalymnos, Leros, Plati and Pserimos. But Amorgos is also very cool! Did you get there by a ferry from Piraeus? :)
Thank you for your comment and for watching. We also need to visit those islands, one of us has been in Kalymnos but that must have been around 30 years ago. Amorgos is best reached by ferry from Piraeus. You can also fly to Naxos or Paros and take a ferry from there. It is a very beautiful island.

Impressed that you were able to rent the car for 20 Euro a day, did that include insurance and all the other costs? Whenever I rent a car in Europe the costs seem to add up quickly, but have to admit the car is the best option.
We actually have a travel insurance that covers the insurances and also our credit card does that. In Greece, on the islands usually the price includes everything too. The operators are private and the businesses mainly family owned.

Another way to enjoy Greece is by sailing......the Aegean sea is for sailing what is Swiss Alps for the skiers

How to go from Naxos to Amorgos? It 's possible in october? Grazie
You can travel by boat from Naxos to Amorgos, Blue Star Ferries do this service. They mainly operate on high season but have regular service on some days all year round. Thank you for watching.
@@TheWayWeSawIt actually the best way to travel from Naxos to Amorgos is on the famous (they made a movie about this ship) small cyclades ferry Skopilidis...which leaves Amorgos every day except Sunday to all the mikri cyclades islands on its way to Naxo and turns around to return to Amorgos around. 1pm .
