The Way We Saw It O yes, its still my favorite movie. Its only movie I watched 2+ time and together with monastery it was my motivation to visit Amorgos. And God made it so church keeper came to open it when i got there. Great memories...

I'm asking because this year it was on karpathos and I chose the place probably the windiest on the island 😊 that's why now I am asking about the wind ... And I choose Siechnice for the year around 10 September for amorgos. Best wishes Emilia from Poland 😊
Thank you for your question. In Greece there is wind most of the time, especially in the summer. It is unusual to find completely wind free days on the islands. Aegiali in Amorgos is probably a little bit more protected. Mostly the meltemi wind comes from the north-east and the bay there is protected. September is so beautiful on the Greek islands... Also put a little piece of bread in the buttom and take the fluids from tomatos and olive oil, that called "vuta" (dip) haha Καλή όρεξη!
