That TomTom mount is a monster! That ‘extension’ is dramatically magnifying any vibration. Not sure I’d 100% put the blame on SW. Their kit did mount the TomTom. Good ‘warning’ though. 👍 Have the same SW kit on my Versys 1000 but with a Zumo XT. No issues. Zumo, essentially, mounts flush with the SW bracket.
Yeah if I had my time back I would have bought the Zumo. The more I use the TomTom the more I realize what a crappy unit it is. An iPhone on a Ram mount is far superior in almost every way.
