Kawasaki OEM fog lights - 2022 Versys 1000 SE

Hello fellow riders/youtube people.
Todaay next part of Grand Tourer package, OEM fog lights.
They are the same lights as in my previous versys, but they have a different mount and slightly different connections.

Cheers Andy 👍The switch position is much better than on the Gen 2 and doesn't look like an afterthought. Typically, you know every mm of this bike after about one week 😀. I have to say all those fixings look even more complicated than on the gen 2....Good job you have your skill and patience....well done and thanks

Thanks for sharing, if not oem foglight can i follow similar wiring connection? Or i need to re-directvthe wiring to the battery?

Hi, your welcome 🙂it depends on what kind of connection and wiring the other brand's lighting has. If it's similar I would connect it to the OEM installation, if you don't feel like messing with it then go straight to the battery. cheers

How is their performance? You can add a can smart from hex or Denali with better aux lights like Denali, baja, lone rider, etc

Did you buy an SE then buy the GT kit separately? Just seems strange you are putting all this on yourself - in UK if you buy the GT version the dealer fits all the extra kit.

I bought a motorcycle with a GT kit, the dealer wants 350 € for the installation of this package, I decided to install it myself and for 350 € I will buy other accessories

@@MotoAndy Definitely the way to go! strange how things are done differently in different countries! In UK if you order the GT version it's all set up prior to collection and included in the warranty, there is no extra cost for the installation!

@@usernametube1 It differs from country to country. Here in Canada, there's no GT version, and the most expensive version is the LT SE, so there's no extra light and no top case. It's optional. Thanks Andy for your video.

Great tutorial - as always on this channel! Are these the same lights as on your previous Versys? How would you rate the placement of the switch? It seems quite awkward compared to the switch on the handlebars.

Thanks, yes these are the same lights, and your right, switch position is not very handy but looks good? 🤣 I'm riding with lights on all the time so it's not really a problem for me.

Nice video. On the Versys 650 it was necessary to install a relay for these accessories. Versys 1000 doesn't need an accessory relay?

Ik heb een vraag:
Ik wil een set mistlampen instaleren op de Versys 1000...geen oem lampen maar van een andere merk.
Waar zit de connector voor de aansluiting van de lampen?
Waarschijnlijk zie ik het over het hoofd in jou vlog...

in de video van 9.20 zie je hoe ik het kapje van de grijze connector verwijder.
Op deze grijze stekker wordt de kabelboom voor de verlichting en de schakelaar aangesloten

Halogeny były w GT pakiecie, paluch na zwolnieniu, praca z wapnami i cementami mu nie służy
