It is really sad how according to Viz, their editions are already collectors deluxe editions, when they don't have even the 20% of the quality Dark Horse is giving to us.

I was waiting something like the Utena edition, but in the end it was another hoax. If they couldn't make a proper collectors edition for a 2 volumen series, what can we expect for other series? Great to see smaller titles like Hellsing also get the Deluxe treatment but I am kinda disappointed that they didn´t put the covers at the back of the book, like they did with Berserk.
I've always wanted the original english darkhorse 10 volume series of Helsing but they're not available anymore.... but now this is available I can collect this awesome series!
This the real definition of collectors, gorgeous, deluxe, high quality editions! Viz needs to start using the same dictionary Darkhorse has already been using since the Berserk edition.
as nice as these books are as collectors items, I still think the reading experience is better in singles as they are just more comfortable to actually read.
@@anab0lic To me, as long as you can fully open the book without problem is ok. This dark horse editions are sewn and the book opens really well. But I understand your point, it happens the most with the glued binding omnibuses or if the sewn is not well made.

I heard it will be but I also heard that technically it isn’t flipped. It has been chopped up and replaced so that it goes left to right so the images are the same... it is just the order that obviously isn’t. Personally i would rather have it be right to left too though. Sucks.

Recently I ordered my first two omnibu after years (Animal Man by Lemire and Aquaman by Johns). The binding should be better than my first and final (until now) omnibus order, which was Green Lantern by Johns. It fall apart after the first reading, that was awful and a trauma for me.

Def buying these and the Blade of the Immortal books when they come out. Already getting the Berserk. This Deluxe Edition format is so good, hoping for all my favorites to eventually use it.
It was on my IST wishlist for a while but everyday before July 15, I keep on watching for it and it seemed to get buried deeper and deeper in the Coming Soon pages as it neared the release date. Last night, I couldn't find it anymore so I just bit the bullet and ordered one from Amazon.
I swear to Alucard, if I miss out on these 3 Hellsing Deluxe I'm gonna be PISSED! Its one thing to miss out on all the Berserk Deluxe, but theres only 3 Hellsings. I gotta get those ASAP!
I was expecting this to drop on IST on Tuesday but it didn’t. Hopefully they get it soon. They didn’t get lady killer library edition until much later and I ended up spending $10 more than I had to just to get it. Got rewarded with damaged corners. This time I’ll just wait to get it on IST because at least I know they will package it well.
About to buy this tomorrow, and I love when there is a small little parental advisory on the book, at least on soft cover, I think it adds flavor and makes it extra cool

Hellsing Ultimate is my favorite anime and when I heard of these I immediately looked them up! Now I'm watching this to see if they're worth the $45 Edit: I have watched Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, and have read the manga. I will admit I read it online because most of the places are extremely expensive to get them all... But I will 110% be buying all three volumes of the deluxe!!!

I only started anime a few months ago, I’m 13 btw, with Naruto because of my older brother, and I remember my brother liking what he called a really inappropriate anime, even I was younger that he loved and I asked him about it and he told me, Hellsing, so I watched it, and god damn, it is my favorite anime ever, awesome drawing, animation, characters and writing
Things set in England are always fucking awesome, its literally the best place for a Fantasy Novel/Manga. cannot wait till all 3 volumes are out, hopefully Gantz and Elfen Lied gets the Deluxe treatment eventually. wwould be incredible, looking forward to blade of the Immortal also

Great video! That artwork is amazing! I really like how clear the action sequences look. That’s one thing that turns me off from a lot of manga compared to anime. That and the lack of color haha. I have two episodes left of Helsing Ultimate. How do you like it compared to the manga?

Since when is Hellsing Small, I would say it is as big as Berserk just because it has a very good anime which Berserk sadly does not have.
