You can tell a lot about a person by how they treat someone “beneath” them: servers, cooks, cleaners, other staff etc. It seems that a lot of Princess Di’s staff have nothing but fond memories of her and of her being kind to them. She clearly valued having Darren and his friendship in her life, she even liked and trusted him enough to let him hold one of her precious babies. It’s good that he reciprocates by sharing only fond memories of her and honoring her memory by doing so. Cheers, Darren. You were so lucky to have known her and to have had such a pure relationship with her.

I was just thinking the exact same thing.
Strange as this may sound, it was really lovely to hear him so lightly touch on her tackling her bulimia. As a lot of interviews that her associates have partaken in about her, insisted she never struggled with it, yet still made it a huge talking point.
The royals are just human beings with a lot of money and a huge sense of entitlement. Diana seems to have been a rare exception in that she was down to Earth and genuinely kind.

I honestly feel like this is the kind of guy that you can say things like " I know it's in the middle of the night, but I can't sleep and i feel a bit down and i could really go for some comfort food" to without him asking unnecessary questions or judging you. When she died, the sunshine went out of the world. Look what we were left with.
I remember seeing a magazine with her wedding picture (it was probably a tribute to her because it was a new issue), and to little 6 year old me, it was basically mind blowing to see a real picture of a princess. She looked exactly like the princesses in the storybooks I had (beautiful, blonde, big elegant dress). I can’t even imagine what being in the same room as her would have been like. I was only a little girl, so I had no idea that Diana had already passed from this world, nor did I know of the horrible things she had to go through. She died way before I was even born. I can’t help but think of all the people who were happy simply by her being around them. She may have passed away young, but she will surely never be forgotten.

Living on the other side of Europe, my grandma and mom always had fascination with British Royals, especially Diana, for some reason.
My mother read somewhere that stuffed peppers were Diana's fav dish, and she would make them at least once a week when in season.

I struggle with bulimia/anorexia myself I also live on my own so I find it really difficult to find the motivation to cook! Strangely I had a really strong craving for stuffed bell peppers and came across this video! I love Princess Diana thank you for this video, it really has given me the motivation to cook this recipe for myself.
