- (1998-2002) • All 35 competitive goals Lubomir Moravcik scored in his 129 Celtic appearances, plus a couple of friendly strikes. After being brought to the club at the age of 33 by fellow-Slovakian Dr. Jo Venglos, genius Lubo won 2 league titles, 1 Scottish Cup, and 2 League Cups during 3½ years in Glasgow.

Witnessed so many of those goals live.
A genius.
Not only was he great, I think he also made Henrik greater, what a fukin partnership for a million quid, unbelievable, best I witnessed in person, won't be beaten in my lifetime.
We were lucky to have him
My favourite player. Named my dog after him in 2001, who lived a long 18 years. Great player. Great memories.
Left foot right foot.unreal
Young players should watch and learn from a GENIUS who used both feet to shoot and score goals!!! So many professional footballers can only score with one foot: Lubo could score from anywhere with both feet. I cant tire of watching him as one of the greatest players to grace Scotland and wear the HOOPS! God bless you Lubo for the greatest of memories!
A one off, a pure natural, footballing genius..... HH... 🍀☠️🍀
Lubo and Larsson, best value for money in the history of Scottish fitba.
My favourite of all, absolute genius.
Glorious
Dr. Joe, god rest him, brought Lubo to paradise he was a player
Just class
im not a celtic fan but what a player, think he was in his early 30's as well
LUBO is LUBO genious.
Lubes face after the first goal is exact same as Hatate against rangers
I see them as similar players, Lubo played further forward later on, but Hatate has the skills to be special.
@@TimMcTim1888I'm sorry but Hatate could only dream to be as good as Lubo.
@@andrewbell7579 I didn’t say he was mate. “Similar player”.
@@TimMcTim1888 yeah cool. For me Lubo is light years ahead of Hatate. Except Larsson he's the best I've seen at Celtic in my lifetime.
Lubo Moravcik
When we think jota is good . This guy is Miles above anything we have
I could only dream of being able to strike a ball like Lubo could.
Esse aí brincava de jogar ! Vi ele muito puco, no celtic já em fim de carreira ele jogava pouco...
He was a genius ... would've loved him at Liverpool
Genius
The wee magician Lubo ☘️
2:54 unreal.
Fantastic compilation - ty.
Lubo was a genius.
Fantastic another great Celtic legend.
Love Lubo's face after 1st goal. Wish we could turn back time and get lubo and Henke back
Don't worry, we have hatate and kyogo now 🍀
Different class
He is possibly the best player to wear the hoops that i have seen and i wittnessed paolo di canino at his best
You deserve far more subs🍀
And to think the scottish gutterpress laughed at us signing him, should have signed john spencer instead they said, he certainly was a gift from god 😃
Same as it ever it was mate.
I’m pretty sure Keevins was the main one as well.
Soon shut up after his debut against Dundee though it, just before the 5-1 doing 🍀
They were also very disrespectful towards Jo Venglos, an absolute gentleman who had forgotten more about football than they would ever know.
To be honest though, as fans we also didn't expect that this older player almost no one heard of would turn out to be a genius. I for one hold my hand up and admit I didn't expect much. So glad I was very wrong. One of my personal all time greats.
@@cordoroy9515first of all Celtic fans disrespected Dr. Jo. It’s just as simple as that. He was European champion as assistant coach in 1976 beating West Germany 👀 on penalties by Panenka’s epic goal. Im sure you’ve heard about that one, haven’t you? Venglos knew what he was doing when he signed a complete two feet fella in his mid 30s you Scots never heard of. Local papers alongside you lot hammered him for such signing only for him to have a final laugh to bring you so much of a joy to watch & learn from Lubo 👌💪😎
@avsroy I'm sorry, but you're being massively obtuse here. DR Jo was massively respected. He had a great CV. Back then, out k owledge of Eastern European footballers was very limited. Internet wasn't a big thing back then either. As I said, I and others didn't know because this data and knowledge wasn't available, but boy, I'm so glad he did sign the genius. Utter brilliance who is still worshiped to this day.
Zidane rates lubo very highly
A Gift from God 💚❤️🍀😎
Could never work out what was his best foot ,a total footballer 😂
...and that's the way it should be. Im a drummer it would be silly to not make both hands (and feet) equal. Likewise at school, I practiced football with my left foot until I was almost as good as my right (in fact my left was better at chipping passes). And I just did it for fun! No idea why these millionaire footballers today don't make it the same. I see them dribbling away and not taking the shot because its on their weak foot and it makes me so mad! Even Maradona who had exceptional dribbling skills would always take time to get it on his left....
Who else is just here for the first 2?…👀
4:25 step aside Beckham, here's how it's done.
£50 million pound player in today's game.
Save that goalie
Famózne
Not exactly tap ins then. Just ridiculous talent. Did he score any that weren’t sensational?
No, he didn't.
A gift from god what a player Hail Hail.
