Honestly Mailchimp doesn’t make sense. As a franchise business, we have 50+ people with an account. Old accounts are not facing any issues, new accounts are getting suspended even after sending out a test email to one subscriber. Support is non existence, and some accounts were re-suspended after the suspension was lifted the first time. Once again, old accounts do not have the same issues when sending the same content.

After spending a week cleaning the list & polishing merge tags, I've got a critical violation for sending myself an email about eyewear to test it on different mail clients. They just said I violated terms of use, let me send one message to the compliance department in which i politely asked them for help because I couldn't see how the content or intent of the email violated terms of service and asked them how I can fix this, to which they replied with a permanent suspension and a suggestion I find another vendor.
I don't agree with the author of the video, it was neither fair nor flexible. There was no warning, no explanation, no way for me to fix this. Plus, I still don't understand what was wrong with the email.
I've got suspended today. I think they should improve their warning and violation detection while processing or building the email draft before allowing users to send the emails not the other way around. It's a bummer how they do it after sending emails and their decision is absolute, ironically, giving the notification to contact them for resolutions but they just ask you to find another email provider.
I admit my mistake but the decision is quite harsh for beginners.
There are times when Mailchimp will suspend an account right after you import a bad list. However, often the violation is triggered by bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes.

@@SpringAheadMediaSolutions My list was made by me from my existing clients. The email used text I wrote, photos I took, all of it very friendly & harmless. I now noticed I accidentally deleted the 'ribe' part of the word 'unsubscribe' from the footer, but if it's such a critical violation, why do they let you delete it in the editor? Why no way to fix?
what are the other platform like Mailchimp and i also got first problem or Mailchimp compliance department says find another vendor what should i do and i have not purchased Email list i build by my self so this Emails allows Mailchimp ?

I have violation too. Because i create two welcome email. I don't know what to do, it is my first time to create an account in mailchimp 😢
It doesn't make sense that that would cause a violation. Many clients have various welcome emails. Contact the compliance department for the real reason why you got the violation.
please i have the first issue , i an new in the plateform and i was doing subscription for 400 dollar , they are solution for this or not

they dont send me a questionnaire at all. they just tell me to look for another vendor :(

If you didn't break the rules, then you can write to compliance and explain yourself. If the violation is warranted, then it's time to move on.
