I never thought id say this but since Lakers dont have anyone that can really manufacturer their own points, then maybe it is time to build package for Trae Young or Zach Lavine. Yes it doesnt help them on defense at all cause neither of them play D, but they need points to lessen load on Bron and AD. And really they should get Dwight on a veterans minimum cause that will help AD too. Dwight can still guard the paint. The front office last did well in 2020. That team was built correctly. And no im not a Laker fan, im a Hawks fan but i am a Bron fan.
The Lakers have AD, LBJ and AR who can do that. What they don't have is a healthy POA defender... which is maybe the most important type of player in the NBA now. Also DLO is under performing because he is a rhythm player and needs his reps. (Not knocking him for this).

@RayR AD still needs the ball passed to him. I'm talking strictly off the dribble scorers. AR is not every nite. It's hard to do the same thing nightly, that's what separates the talent. Trae and Zach can guarantee u at least 20 a note even on bad notes. They need consistent scoring since they have too many holes on defense so they need to outscore. Their entire roster is a defensive hole except for AD and Vanderbilt. Bron has the IQ for defense of course but he is 40.
