Pulsar Thermion XQ50 3.5-14x is new for 2020. It features a new and advanced sensor with an NETD rating of less than 40 mK. This new sensor produces more precise detail than ever before in a 384 resolution thermal optic. The differences are clearly visible with richly contrasted, high-resolution imaging. This new sensor, combined with a high-resolution AMOLED display, is a large improvement over the sensors in the previous Pulsar scopes with the XQ (384) or XM (320) sensors. This new sensor allows the Thermion XQ50 to detect targets up to 2000 yards away and is much more sensitive to temperature changes.

Side by side with the XQ38? Tossing these 2 around and can’t decide

For coyotes at longer ranges, XQ50. For all-around hunting with most shots 50-150 XQ38. XQ38 has wider field of view and $500 to help pay for good scanner if you are on a budget.
