I've watched this several times and I'm still finding new details. The messed up subtitles, the clearly post-added sound effects, the _slightly questionable_ cooking technique, the unnecessary thirst trapping, the bad knife work trying to hide behind fast-forwarding, the not so subtle self sponsor, the god awful transition into a loop ending, the phrase "POV" that doesn't really mean anything, THE LOFI LYRICS I'M JUST NOW HEARING. And so much more I can't even list. This might be your densest video to date, and that's saying a lot.
Makes me wonder if the concept was an AI cooking channel.

lot's of things to love about this but i think my favorite is the extremely forced and completely nonsensical "perfect loop" at the end
He really has a talent for scrutinizing and portraying the oversaturated-to-the-point-of-annoying mannerisms.
The flaky salt in the 5 minute caramelized onions got me good.

This is so perfect because one would think it just mocks homechef tiktoks by being over the top, but there's so much greatness in here it also mocks the homechef tiktoks that try to be over the top ironic, sarcastic and lE rAnDoM with stupid shit sprinkled in just to bait engangement.
Watching the landscape of cooking media change over the years has been interesting. It feels like just yesterday the top down, sped up Tasty style video was the standard for cooking content.
Now production quality and editing has gone through the roof and this Weissman/Max the Meat guy style is everywhere. Dim lighting, close ups, fast cuts, and an emphasis on the sounds of cooking.
I hate that NetShaq knows how to create such a perfect uncanny valley. What a cursed video, great job
