What would really creep people out is if the Amygdala had been following you around the game, from building to building and always close enough that it could reach out and grab you if it wanted, and you only found out when you got the insight to see it.
I think its a pity that insight doesnt have that much of an impact in Bloodborne. With only 50 insight you can unlock any mystery. It wouldve been awesome if something happens at 80 or 99 insight.
@@elonius_tuskustbh I think frenzy resist going down as your insight goes up is dumb, like frenzy is from seeing cosmic horrors beyond your own understanding right? +itsacharcoalice At 6 minutes, and then again after the 14 minute mark, those giant creatures on the building aren't visible until your "Insight" stat reaches a certain level. Basically, the game changes (both visually and mechanic-wise) as your insight stat changes. It's actually a really cool system, the higher you get in level and the more investigating you do, the more the environments and creatures warp to show you what's really there, and the enemies gain new mechanics making them more difficult to fight. Of course, you wouldn't know this having not played the game, but in that case what are you doing here? :P
I was killed by that thing right after reaching Cathedral Ward for the first time so my insight was pretty low, I wasn't even able to see that creature but that blue light killed me. Does that creature appear randomly? Because it's not anymore at the same spot where I was killed first.
after you kill amelia and go to the forbidden forest you’re supposed to go to gilbert (the guy in the window at central yharnam) and he’ll give you a tonsil stone. after that go to that place and the amygdala will lift you up and teleport you to the lecture hall to get to nightmare of mensis
+nexusj13 As FlatSkip said, some enemies gain new moves and mechanics. So yes, it can make it more difficult. But you can also just spend your insight and calm the enemies down a bit too :)

Dark Souls is Bright Souls compared to Demon's and Bloodborne.

So what we fight at the Nightmare's Frontier is a small sized amygdala in comparison to the huge ass one clinged to the Cathedral Ward? Xd
It took you six minutes to go back to a spot and look at something you should've already seen.
