I'm 19, the only Christian in my family. It's tough. I didn't grew up in a religious family at all. It's so hard to deal with my family especially whenever I feel down and needed to be understood. I just pray EVERYDAY that one day, they will seek and know Jesus too. EDIT: It's been almost 2 years since I made this comment. Now I testify! 3/5 of my family just got baptised and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Prayer is truly powerful and God is always on His perfect time 🥰
So interesting to see all these stories from people like us who either didn't grow up in a religious family or grew up in a family that believes in some sort of mystery/works based religion. I thank God for leading me to the churches I've been to in the past couple of years, as I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't have serious conversations with people...
Wow praise the Lord, that is so encouraging since I also am the only Christian in my family (they are all Muslims). Please pray for them as well. God bless you, praying that the Lord would save the rest of your family! 😄
It's really tough to not only be around unsaved family members, but especially when they believe they are saved and are offended by anyone questioning it.
Kate's Free Same. My moms boyfriend (who lived with us for about 4-5 years now) called me a Bible humper the first time I tried to to call about Christ to him. I don’t talk to them about it anymore because it causes fights/ I feel I don’t yet have the spirituality maturity to answer all their questions/keep calm at 17. But I pray to god to work on their heart and one day help me to tell them about Jesus the proper way.
I’m currently going through the same thing ....I was drawn to Christ by the Amazing Grace of God from being in the Catholic Chruch and have come to understand the sovereignty of God and the message of the cross is no longer foolishness to me and coming to understand that it’s the saving Power of God, this is truly the good news of the gospel and wanted to share it with my family..when I wasn’t that spiritually mature and tried to ask my mom to read the Bible and told her that I’m not in the Catholic Church and I couldn’t continue the conversation she didn’t want to Hear 👂 it ..but my pray is one day she does it’s a miracle of grace from God cause it’s his sovereign power...Romans 9:15 For he said to Mosses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and compassion on whom I will have compassion...and just us God should mercy on us it is his will.
I am 75 today. Got saved from a religion of Hinduism 20 years ago and its so hard. Even my daughters one is a hindu and the other one an evolutionist😨 my 7 siblings and extended families. Hard hearted! I have left them in the hands of our Lord. It's sad. He knows best for them. From Kenya
My friend, preach the Gospel to them. So the seeds can be planted. 🌱 maybe u should fast too. I pray for you because I am in the same situation. God bless you and your family
@@theodorefrazier8179 Oh wow wow wow! Why so much anger? Have you read the bible about hell? Whatever religion? Are you crazy? It's not about being pious or religious. It's about one's love and concern for family members' eternity. I pray that you are a believer in Christ.
Sharmi Bhalla Beloved brother in Christ remember what Christ said, if the world hates you remember they hated me first..just us Jesus was truth but they crucified him ...we are in Christ and we understand the righteousness of Christ cause we where granted the grace of God through Jesus Christ ..has mercy on the unbelieving cause we where once unbelievers. And such were some of you were washed, you were sanctified you were justified in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11.
@@theodorefrazier8179 Our religion is trying to save u, But u take our words for granted and jokes, makes mock of us, We r only trying to open ur eyes and not go to hell but no one listens, So plz if someone is sharing the Gospel with u its a very good thing!! Try and listen to them and let them talk and dont give them a hard time
We can never achieve 100% obedience to God's laws while we are living in an imperfect body tainted by the original sin of Adam & Eve. Jesus Christ is the one with the power to enable believers to walk in sanctity, though more of a meandering path caused by the struggle between the spirit and the body, but at least in the general trajectory that Jesus wants from us. Love is one of the vital ingredients to witness to others, especially your family. As Jesus summed it best where he said, "...Without me, you can do nothing."(John 15: 5)
I disagree. Who you are in the face of accusation, insult, adversity, abuse, and in traffic (!) is who you REALLY are. It's easy for me to worship and give glory to God in the privacy of my prayer closet... very difficult when I'm being stared down by a family member or friend or coworker or boss who mocks my "peasant faith" and calls me pathetic for believing that the Word of God is Absolute Truth.
I was saved at 20 years old and the church I attended was teaching Revelation so I was pretty wound up. We were playing cards and blurted out,” If you all don’t get saved you are going to hell!” Of course my husband and sister and her husband laughed at me and called me a nut, a religious fanatic. I cried. 52 years from that time, I’ve seen my husband, sisters, their husbands, all of our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren saved. I’ve personally led most of them to Christ( giving all glory to God). So, don’t be afraid to tell your family about Jesus even when they laugh and call you names.God does the work. We’ve seen hundreds saved since that card game hallelujah!
@@Growndweller thank u but the glory goes to God! I was a young girl just trying to do what God wanted me to do. Now in my 70s it’s harder but we must keep fighting the good fight!
Praying for them is a big key also, a verse I like to pray is Acts 26:18 “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith “
It’s way harder to witness to your own family especially when I’m the only Christian and everyone else is Muslim. I have finally come to realize that God is calling me to simply love on them instead of shoving my Bible down their throats. I’ve been recently Skyping with my parents every Sunday after church and I share recipes with my Mom who’s an amazing cook and I love our Middle Eastern food 😋 Also my dad has lived an exceptionally interesting life and he is writing his autobiography and sharing with me. I love going down memory lane with him. I can tell they are warming up to the positive change in my life and they want my advice on important family matters. I try to give them the best biblical advice I can and my father finds that very helpful. Praise God! 🙏🏽❤️
Wow this is exactly what I’m going through now, my family is mostly Muslim as well and at the beginning of my conversion I was such a Pharisee it was sad. Now God has gracefully and mercifully humbled me praise Him! 🙏🏾
@@username25256 Its okay me too. Only my family is roman catholic non practicing and very lukewarm. They call me crazy all the time and my dad commits adultry alot. Its horrible because they think they are all going to heaven and they dont care at all. Its okay just stay strong and pray. I will be praying for you.
@@User-mq1vi I am in the same situation as you. My brother and I are the only Christian the rest are catholic. I’ve tried talking to my mum, buts it’s been hopeless.
You say your peace, then give it to God. But never stop praying for those you love. The holy spirit will move upon your family. He can do what you cannot!
I was always incredibly nervous to share my faith with my mother. I think it was a respect thing. Parents are supposed to teach their children not the other way around I suppose. But then I decided years ago that I was not going to hide my faith and that I would simply use verbiage with her like I would with any of my Christian friends, not changing my words simply because I was around my mom. It took the pressure off because I was no longer directly witnessing to her possibly making her feel like she was somehow inferior to me. She would get rather upset with me when I would do this, (use Christian verbiage) and she would tell me that she did not want to hear that kind of stuff. Then at some point a lightbulb went off in my head and there was a moment when I asked something like, mom you love me right”’, she said yes of course and I responded then I would hope that you would want to hear about what I love, and I love the Lord. God opened up doors from that moment on. Today she is open to hearing about Christ and I have shared the truth with her many times. No nervousness anymore. And she has excepted Christ possibly in part through the seeds that have been planted in this less threatening way.
S B It is so good to hear when someone receives Jesus...His Holy Spirit is Power and His Will being fulfilled through and in us is melody of harmony like no other. I pray for His Holy Spirit being your Leader in every breath you take and those around you for His Will being fulfilled. His Will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen - It Shall Be So.
Yesterday I visited my unsaved family after months in lockdown, and when I came home I was so drained I had to cancel work today and slept all day. All I want is to lead them into the light, but instead they are dragging me into darkness. I feel like I can't just leave because I am sort of in a caring role too. Really need prayer.
If it wasn't for the fact that you were in a caring role I'd 100% advise separating from them, but if you're still in the caring role... Maybe see if you can surround yourself with believers more than you spend time with your family? If that doesn't work, I think you might have to decide whether or not to have someone else take over for you own mental, emotional and spiritual health.
This is where I am. I live with my parents and my sister for the last two years. My family all "believes" in God, but won't fully receive or accept the true gospel. My mom gets short and defensive with me when I tell her what's actually in the Bible and what Jesus actually says. It's so hard, I try to share my faith but they just won't listen. It makes me feel alone in my home and like their sin and darkness pulls me down. I try to stay strong in the word to keep my head straight. But I just want to move out so badly but I'm poor. Thank God for His hope and mercy and salvation, without Him I would be nothing and completely hopeless.
Ask God to send them signs and command in your prayers the scriptures and their hearts to be soft-humble! Keep speaking life no matter what- It does works! Remember this is a battle won through Jesus! If they reject you-ask God to send other laborers because a prophet in his hometown never honored ! ( as Jesus had to leave his hometown because their hearts did not receive Him) Rest assured Jesus is working this out and You will see them say Jesus is their Lord and true revelation is their portion! Amen!
my great grandma died this summer at 96.i hope and believed she is saved.she was a tough nut to crack but her last months she was humbled and started to talk a lot about jesus. with some assistance she repented and god quickly took her without being sick.
Kirk, was right, it is hard to talk to family about Christ, I was raised a catholic, and in my lifetime, I had the honor of asking Jesus to come into my life. My family had disowned me for a long time, and the sadness for me, is that they still refuse to except him, and some family members are now suffering in hell, Give Christ a chance. God bless ✝️🕊💜🙏🏻
My family believes in God, they’re catholic. I always knew I was different and was told “you should have your own religion, you don’t believe in what Catholics do.” And in the last 2 years I’ve become closer and closer to God. My immediate family goes to church every Sunday but that’s it. That’s where it ends. My mom always says “you’re not Jesus you can’t save anyone” which yes, I’m not trying to be Jesus, there can only be one Jesus! I believe I can save people by sharing the truth to them and letting God truly save them! I started reading the Bible a month ago and literally have not stopped reading it the way I know how and it’s the ONLY book I’ve ever been able to read like this! Lord, thank you for everything, I love you so much 💕
The Bible says that your own family may be against you or not agree with you; let alone strangers but we have to keep on eyes on the prize, right? God bless you! I'm gonna say a short prayer for you right now. :))
Sydelle Fernandes: I found that out recently both fortunately and unfortunately. Rejection is my weakest point in my life but God has made me so strong and I’ve been able to overcome the negativity that comes along with rejection. And Thank you, that means so much to me ❤️ God bless you too, I appreciate you ❤️
Sydelle Fernandes - Kirk was talking about: 1 Peter 3, you are talking about: Matthew 19-29, and While looking for the Matthew quote I found 1 John 3:1. All are for this feed. PTLH!!! AMEN!!!
_Ursie Minor_ - I struggled at first about the very thing you have, I was shown Matthew 19-29, then 1 Peter 3, how to minister to family effectively, before those was shown 1 John 3, all at different Baptist Churches. My current reading is only 1 Kings, my first time reading the Bible as well. I have only gone to a Catholic Church a couple times and I don’t understand how to take anything away from the practice or prayers, not making light of them. I am still looking for a church to call home. I believe any faith that has Jesus in it is his plan, not mans.
@@bdvjack9214 Confessing your sins to a priest to have him forgive them is not biblical. A priest cannot forgive sins, only God can. Priests were done away with, we now have Pastor/Preachers. We serve Jesus and Jesus alone, not Mary. Mary is a human being, not God.
My family just shuts me down & tells me to “quit your preaching.” And I have been forbidden to even talk to my grandkids about the Lord because they “want their kids to chose for themselves.” WOW!! If you don’t teach the young ones how to follow God, the world (even more true these days) will teach them how not to! I know the Lord has not given us a Spirit of Fear but still I fear for my children, grandchildren, & hubby. 🥺
Keep on praying for them and trust the Almighty Lord, that He makes the work in their hearts. Without the Lord Jesus, we can do nothing... May God bless you richly and gives power in your spirit. In Jesus name, amen Hallelujah!
Anavah 4 Yeshua.... Congratulations Mom you have done your part. Now just keep on praying. The Lord Jesus is doing the rest. Jesus has already warned us that our family members are our worst enemies. I am undergoing the same and have continued to pray for them.
Julia Hoover, no ma’am. I wish they would! Unfortunately, my grandkids live 900 mi. away from me. My sons are adamant they don’t want any mention of Jesus. My 15 yr old granddaughter was invited to “Jesus Camp” this summer by a friend when I was visiting. When she came home her parents & her were having a “discussion” about her not wanting to play softball any more. Her dad told her if she didn’t straighten up he was going to send her back to Jesus Camp. She said “Oh no... anything but that! For the last week I’ve been tortured by those people, just leave me alone.” (Paraphrased) Hearing her say that broke my heart! I felt within myself, lost and I can’t do anything to change it. She did ask me a question about missionaries that I answered to the best of my ability. I told her about Jim & Elizabeth Elliot. She just said that’s to bad, they shouldn’t have gone then. I wanted to explain further but she took off to her room & closed the door. All I can do is continue to pray for all their souls! It’s in Gods hands now. I am helpless!
"If you don’t teach the young ones how to follow God, the world (even more true these days) will teach them how not to!" I hope you don't mind if I use that quote... a LOT! It's so true and wise. We are seeing this "kids need to chose for themselves" everywhere. This is an abdication of responsibility that has eternal consequences. I fear for the parents who say this when they have to stand before God and explain that. I truly do. Your grandchildren hear you even when they don't act like it. KEEP SPEAKING and writing and sending cheesy Christian cards with cheesy Christian quotes and Bible verses. God's word does not return void! God bless you and your granddaughter. Tell her there's someone out there in the world who has prayed for her on November 24th at 8:16pm!
Thank you. My children 18 & 22 are far from Christ. I know God is protecting and working on them. It's a matter of God's will, which is timeless. I may not see it in my life on earth but I know every knee will bow and every tongue confess. Praise Jesus!
I was born again about two Years ago and spiritually I've seen the changes. God is so good, and theres not a day that goes by where I dont Thank him for his mercy and grace. Although living this new life in Jesus has its other challenges which are all of my unbelieving family members. I pray every day for them but it's a constant worry that eats me up inside. Please pray for my family. Thank you and God bless yall in Jesus precious name. Amen!
Ever since I became born again, this is a constant concern of mine. All of my siblings have taken different paths away from our Christian up-bringing. I went through a very long period of rebellion myself. We are in our 30s now. I am one of the four that is saved at the moment. I pray to God that he will lead them back to the truth, to seek Him and find Him so they can experience the joy and peace of salvation. Their names are Connie, Michael, and Alex. Would you please pray for them as well? Thank you and God bless.
Hello Jared, just prayed for Connie, Micheal, and Alex. I prayed for you as well, to not be discouraged, to display the fruit of the Spirit, and trust that God has heard our prayers for your siblings and you can trust that it is Him and Him only that will give the increase. Never stop praying for them. God bless you!
Brought my children up learning about God's ways and how to follow Him....to love Jesus. They both stepped away from their Christian heritage in adulthood. They are in their late 40s now. Makes a mother's heart ache.
This was very helpful. I struggle with witnessing to family and friends. I sometimes feel that there isn’t much else to say. I do know that they watch me and I know I can also witness by my actions. Thank you so much! Sometimes I feel that I have the most stubborn family ever. I agree that it can be much easier to witness to strangers. God bless!
Seek the kingdom unapologeticaly. I recently had to stay with a close relation who is a self-confessed witch and one day she became suspicious why I went to church two hours early so I told her. We went out to lunch together and talked about life and I confessed my weaknesses and fears and what I was capable of but how Christ's love comforts and restrains me. Just good old honest talk. Then as I was preparing to go to our Christmas eve service she wanted to come too. I think we just have to be totally honest and if they see that they will be willing to talk and listen.
I stand on this verse, "as for me & my household we will serve the Lord" I don't want to b afraid to tell anyone that I'm a servant of Jesus Christ that I want to stand on his side. So I pray to God Almighty b through his son Jesus Christ of to help me & endure my days to come... 💞💕💖👍🏾💞💖💕"Jesus my Lord & Savior"...💞💕
My family are in religion and are deceived that they are saved. My God it it's so difficulty to make them understand the truth. But my Lord Jesus is doing the job I know.
I feel that too. But you are not! We need to constantly remind ourselves that we are responsible to plant and water, then God gives the increase! Not us..hard to remember
I sooo Appreciate this video and the comments We just keep praying for our family and Grandchildren and never give up Jesus has the last say As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord ♥️🕊♥️
I’m not the only believer in my family (of origin that is, my children are grateful believers) but the only God fearing one. It is not easy as we have a family business. The spiritual warfare is beyond belief, very public. Im moving on to a different job or I’ll lose my mind. God help my family because Im doing more fighting back than interceding on their behalf . I need strength , discipline, faith, conviction and healing to get my family members delivered. Please pray for boundless energy for me. I have very little, but want to be victorious over the enemy.
You aren't kidding!😅 God drew me away from my family in 2016, I was saved in 2020, and now I wish there was some sort of community group for those of us who've effectively lost our families... Do you interact with your family much? I've struggled with that more and more as I draw closer to God, and lately I can't even have a serious conversation (or more accurately an attempt to do so) with my mom without me ending up in tears...
We should love people so much that it overrides the fear of speaking to them about Jesus. Passion to see them saved and snatched from Hell, must override the fear of testifying. When you think about someone in your life that you love and they are not saved, just think about it, if you stay silent, where will that person spend eternity? Even if they reject you, slander you, say all kinds of evil things about you, is it not worth trying to tell them about the greatest Gift you received, Jesus Christ? Hold out the Good News to those on their way to Hell, maybe you are the person God wants to use in reaching someone that is not saved. Don't be afraid! Tell them about Jesus!!!
My mom is a Christian, but since I've become a reborn Christian I've noticed she's lukewarm. I don't know how to help her because I don't want to judge her especially since I was in that exact place once as well. My dad, on the other hand, he believes in God but he's not Christian. Sometimes he says some things that give me hope but then he goes back into sin. I'm only a teenager and I love my parents very much. I don't want to cause any arguments but I also don't want to do nothing to help. The same goes for my non-Christian friends who I meet when I was lukewarm. Since I've come to Christ It's not the same. They don't know I'm reborn since we don't talk much anymore but I still care for them and we are still friends. I want to help them but I know for sure that if I share it with them I will lose them. I know it's something that will have to happen so I'm trying to figure out how to go about it.
Hmm... I don't think you should worry about judging your mom, since you might be the only person in her life that can help her realize where she stands in the faith, but that said... Be mindful that having those conversations can be incredibly painful(especially if you end up seeing that your parents are worse off than you realize). I became a Christian as an adult, and *still* find it incredibly hard to have those conversations with my folks, so I can't imagine how much harder it must be for you as a teenager to be in that situation.
Isaac.......Yessss. Religion is "man made". People don't get that, and think "I 'm a good person and I don't rob liquor stores on the weekends" therefore their going to Heaven. Your right......religion and having a relationship with Jesus are two totally different things ( and going to church is not a guarantee) of a relationship ( that's up to you)
@@wynnssecret8584 I would have to partially agree and respectfully disagree with part as well. Religion is God made but we cannot be saved by it. Only through a relationship with an Advocate can we be saved. I fully agree how important relationship is but that does not negate religion: Matthew 5:17-20. He fulfills religion
"Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good." (1 Thess 5:19-21) If you rely on only your personal relationship with God, you hold in your own hands the ability to break that relationship. In the churches, we experience the spirit, in unison, in communion, we bring ourselves into the body of Christ, we become the working hands and feet and hearts of His kingdom. We test our faith and beliefs against the interpretations of others, we read the scripture together, and learn new ways of seeing. Religion is imperfect, but the God we serve is not, and it was CHRIST who established the church on Earth. Test your church, and hold on to what is good, move on and test the next until you find the place to which you have been called. I don't mean to insult or berate you, but salvation and the fulfillment of our own spirit is only half of our mission. Once you are convicted, it's time to reach out with the power He gave you. You have been chosen for a purpose. People get ready, there's a train a comin'" ruclips.net/video/NdKEbnS1eBE/видео.html

I’m quite new in my faith and a while ago I started talking to my family I could not keep what I believed to myself and like many others you try to save your family because you know where they may be heading. At first two seemed quite responsive, I thought they would see that as a believer that my life was turning around as I was so full of sin before (drugs, fornication etc) but now the message I’m feeling is I’ve pushed to hard as contact with them ( they live abroad) is slightly icey. A sister I was so so close to who was quite responsive has stopped contacting me. It hurts to think that I’ve pushed them away from Jesus. I’m alone in this country and truly don’t know what to do. I’ve done more damage than good. I pray for them and love them and I know they love me but in my naivety I preached badly. Really feel lost as they have always been good to me
God matters above all. The Lord might have allowed that because you are new in your faith. And wanted to teach you first, before you taught others. Because in His word it says, teachers get judged with greater strictness. James 3:1-2
Sometimes you just have to cut ties. Some people are too stubborn and won't change for anything or anyone. I'm pretty sure you did all you could, but think of all the ones who are being lost out there who *would* listen to you, all while you're wasting precious time on those who don't deserve it. Sorry to sound harsh but it's the truth. Shake the dust from your feet and move on. Maybe that act in itself will make them finally take you seriously. I wish you luck, you'll go far.

Kalola, May Gods will be done for April. His will is that none shall perish. It is written. 🌝 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Praying for your sister to except Jesus' healing from her inner wounds. He is the great Physician! 🙏
The military dubbed me 150% PTSD and then I married a muslim. God certainly works in mysterious ways. I need God every single moment of life now if I'll ever conduct myself in a manor to win over the husband who claims to be next in line rightly "guided" caliphate . My living in faith has never been more intensive and obscure. Praise God for living waters. These are like milk and honey, if I can only be courageous enough to apply it.
I feel so heard after reading these comments. i think it is easy to believe we are alone in our struggles. My family is unsaved and my sister is a witch. I was saved 3 years ago from witchcraft. I come from a family who were deep in the occult. My heartgrieves thinking how my parents are getting older, how our life can end suddenly. Just struggling so bad. Ive been praying about it for years now. I know it will be done on huis timing, but its so hard sometimes.
*_Kirk_* I hope you realize that WE are your family. Don't forget that. I don't know you personally, but I care a lot for you. So does God and your other Christian brothers and sisters. Don't forget that! ❤
@jayden talbott burned the gays? When? Where? Please tell me more. You say you guys, I didn't do it and wouldn't do it. The bible says all sins are the same. Lieing is the same as all the sexual sins. When a person lies once it makes them unrighteous. We are made righteous by Jesus dieing for us, paying for our sins. We go to heaven because of what Jesus did for us, to make us righteous, not because of anything we do.
@@lalrempuiifanai8952 I prayed for you to be able to be a good example and get a chance to share the gospel with your roommate. Thanks for sharing. God bless you!
Brothers and sisters I would so apreciate it if you could please pray for my family, I pray for them everyday I'm 20 and the youngest sibling there's a generational curse of honosexuality on the family my brothers gay and many others on my dad's side, the rest of my family don't believe and I can tell they just think I've lost the plot and it breaks my heart I feel as if because I was the baby of the family and made so many mistakes nobody listens to me. Please pray for the salvation of my family and if this is the will of my father in heaven they will become saved!! Peace and blessings from the UK
I'm sorry you feel so alone in your own family. I would guess they think it's a phase you're going through and probably hope you'll "grow out of it". Don't let anything or anyone choke the seed that has been planted. For all we know, it will grow to provide the shade and shelter they will all need someday. The time will come when they will ask you for prayer or ask you to pray for a certain thing, when they see your steadfastness and love. Stay strong and be at peace. Your only requirement is to love them and pray God's presence into any room or situation, and that He would draw them to himself with cords of lovingkindness that only a good, perfect Father can provide.
You're right I guess in the end they will see the 'phase' hasn't ended and as I try my best to let the spirit shine god could just use that to testify to them how awesome he is through the baby of the family so they may believe, only the Lord knows. But I thankyou so much for your kindness and your words of wisdom I really needed to see that this morning I appreciate it so much
Here in the Philippines, we preach in public, and no one ever gets angry. You might say then that there's no persecution here. That would be wrong. The persecution here is almost entirely within families. We have had church members physically assaulted, mercilessly taunted, and/or shunned by family members who demand that these saints return to the dead religion they were brought up in. Lately some dear friends of ours have been harassed by family members in the Quiboloy cult. Even a super-sweet 12 year old girl has been subjected to many verbal attacks from children of the cult members. What makes this kind of persecution worse is that many times, the family members doing the persecuting are next-door neighbors, or even within a household.
I'm so worried sick about my family. A lot of them are unsaved and going through really tough times, and I try to evangelize to them, but I feel like it's just harding their hearts every time I try. Please pray for my family
it really hurts me that when the rapture happens, my unsaved family members are going to suffer and worse, it’s like a stab in the back knowing that my unsaved family members and friends are going to suffer in hell :( thats why im really gonna start spreading the gospel to them but its really hard bc im so young
ladillalegos can you show me a scripture verse that says that? I guarantee you that if your truly a born again Christian and living holy, you will open your mouth and preach to your family. Your family will hate it and separate from you, if they don’t have ears to hear. (Luke 6:22, Luke 12:51-53, Jude 17-20, KJB) There is no fellowship with unbelievers. (2 Corinthians 6:14-17, Ephesians 5:11-13) Jesus preached to sinners, He didn’t fellowship with them, He was separate. (Hebrews 7:25-27, Luke 5:32). I hope you can take the time to read these scripture verses and seek God on this. All scripture verses are from the King James Bible.
Comming through freewill to Christ the way truth and light to God is very personal. The Believers must live their faith with Grace, the salvation expressed then is a peace and Love non-believers are lacking.
My brother was just killed by a train, he was intoxicated and on the phone talking to his friend. So he didn’t have time to cry out to God and repent but my mom and I have prayed for my brothers salvation every single day for his whole life. I’m struggling to know where his soul is now?
integrity is very important for christians. it is doing what God has called you to do despite of you messing up sometimes and obeying and trusting God of the consequences of obedience. We cant be perfectly 100% obedient but the consequences of disobedience are sometimes coslty...better to obey. integrity is being a good example to other people...showing love, patience and caring and being generous... i remember confessing to my boss of cheating in my job application for a promotion. been eyeing on this position for 5 years and been rejected 5× already (the reason for my depression and suicidal ideations and the reason why i came to learn about the saving knowledge of Christ). i knew that decision will cause me my job. i was suffering inside cause i dont want to lose my job and second people will know my sin. i even asked God for Him to forget that i applied for the job. and promised that if ill get selected ill just reject the offer...but God showed me a verse that made me obey...i was so anxious and worried about the outcome but He reassured me that He will never leave and He will be there in every step of the way. He never condemed me instead He helped me get things right and i just trusted to watch Him work. i confessed and my boss was shocked and speechless and even told me that she could terminate me that very moment. She had a hard time making the right verdict for me but she told that she was surprised and blown away about my action of telling her the truth and how it reflected my true character and integrity. And then she told that i can stay and keep my job and hugged me it felt like i was comforted and forgiven by God. and after 2 years i applied again got the position without making so much effort because it was the right time set by God. I was no longer focused on the promotion instead id look back and thank God for the rejections cause it paved away for my salvation through Jesus. ..Amazing God we serve. God will give us the opportunities for us to experience 1st hand who God is and it will make us bold in sharing the gospel. Our family will see it first in us then they will believe...it not easy but eventually they will see Jesus in us and through us..."you will know them by their fruits" i shared the gospel to my mom and it was hard at first but i learned from relatives and friends that my mom was telling them that something has changed about me...and now not only i am ministering to my mom but also to other members of the family...because of my testimony. Let God work in you and obey no mattet how difficult it is...because your obedience now will make a great impact not only to your future but also to the people around you...all for God's glory.
The spiritual war is intensifying in these last days. My son was the church youth leader and his wife was the church secretary and recently told me that they don't follow Jesus anymore. I'm tearfully praying that our merciful Lord change their hearts with repentance.
Yes, people have expectations for us. Even so, be quick to admit your faults and apologize. Bring attention to the fact that you're keenly aware of your need for the Savior.
Growing up in a house without God produced significant damage in my life for many years. My mother and father worship mammon. My brothers worship materialism and physical self-gratification. I can do nothing to help them and reject the evil that flows through their veins. My birth parents are evil as are both of my brothers. Everyone needs to recognize that God chose your role in His will before time began. God also rejected who he would reject at the same time. God chose me and has rejected my family. The encroaching darkness beginning to cover the world will also cover them. If you have a family who have been given reprobate minds, it's over for them. Move on and serve Jesus until the end. Those who endure until the end shall be saved.
One important thing to keep in mind is to live it before ones they will see. They will be diligent to observe. In a growing genuine relationship with Yeshua it manifests in many ways without even a word.
I have noticed how my parents seem to worship God less than I do in terms of worshipping outside of prayers during meals. I sometimes watch videos about the Christian faith or even read Bible verses while my parents seem to have become lukewarm. My stepmother had past trauma that seemed to have broken her relationship with the Christian church while my dad seemed to have drifted off from God over a course of many years. I once even offered them a way closer to God by giving them books from a church I went to, but they seemed to haven't read them as far as I know. I just hope that my lord, Jesus Christ, would help my family get closer to faith as he did for me.
I know what you mean my brother. Stay strong, and keep praying! God bless.
Hallelujah ❤ Prayer is powerful! Thanks for sharing your update.
Wow praise the Lord, that is so encouraging since I also am the only Christian in my family (they are all Muslims). Please pray for them as well. God bless you, praying that the Lord would save the rest of your family! 😄
Thank you, I needed this encouragement. Praise the Lord!
It's really tough to not only be around unsaved family members, but especially when they believe they are saved and are offended by anyone questioning it.
Oof, definitely! My home exactly haha

Same.
Almost same case here
I’m currently going through the same thing ....I was drawn to Christ by the Amazing Grace of God from being in the Catholic Chruch and have come to understand the sovereignty of God and the message of the cross is no longer foolishness to me and coming to understand that it’s the saving Power of God, this is truly the good news of the gospel and wanted to share it with my family..when I wasn’t that spiritually mature and tried to ask my mom to read the Bible and told her that I’m not in the Catholic Church and I couldn’t continue the conversation she didn’t want to Hear 👂 it ..but my pray is one day she does it’s a miracle of grace from God cause it’s his sovereign power...Romans 9:15 For he said to Mosses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and compassion on whom I will have compassion...and just us God should mercy on us it is his will.

"Who you are in private, is who you REALLY are."
I'm a dirty, rotten sinner. I pray daily that I be annointed with the love of Jesus. I'm still a jerk.
Well this is a punch in the face. I needed that.

Thank you for your encouragement and perspective.
What a great story lol

Are you sure they didn't just say your prayer to get you to shut up about it?
Praying for them is a big key also, a verse I like to pray is Acts 26:18 “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith “
Thank you! I will use this prayer and keep at it for those in my family who don't have faith. I try to teach & preach but it falls on deaf ears.
That’s good. Thank you.
Thank you brother, I wrote it down and will memorize it. This verse is from Lord Jesus. Love it and will use it.

Thank you for reminding me of that scripture

It is so good to hear when someone receives Jesus...His Holy Spirit is Power and His Will being fulfilled through and in us is melody of harmony like no other.
I pray for His Holy Spirit being your Leader in every breath you take and those around you for His Will being fulfilled.

Great testimony brother.

Amazing man! Quite a challenge but you trusted God and left the rest to Him. Now that's effective evangelism right there 👐!
I kind of like WWJD or do you know what I read in the Bible?
I am so so sorry. I was a caretaker too.
How are you doing now? Stay strong
Praying for you my friend 🙏
Ask God to send them signs and command in your prayers the scriptures and their hearts to be soft-humble!
Keep speaking life no matter what- It does works!
Remember this is a battle won through Jesus!
If they reject you-ask God to send other laborers because a prophet in his hometown never honored ! ( as Jesus had to leave his hometown because their hearts did not receive Him)
Rest assured Jesus is working this out and You will see them say Jesus is their Lord and true revelation is their portion!
Amen!

And Thank you, that means so much to me ❤️ God bless you too, I appreciate you ❤️
Sydelle Fernandes - Kirk was talking about: 1 Peter 3,
you are talking about: Matthew 19-29, and While looking for the Matthew quote I found 1 John 3:1.

For the last week I’ve been tortured by those people, just leave me alone.” (Paraphrased)
Hearing her say that broke my heart!
My sisters are unsaved I pray for them all the time
I pray almost daily that no one in my bloodline perishes.✝️❤️
I shared Christ with my great grandma when she was 86 and she became a Christian.
You are never alone because God is omnipresent and He sees everything you do.

For now I'm the only believer in my family, and It's really painful.
@Jeanette Pretorius
Beautifully said Jeanette! Thank you! God bless you! 💖

All about a personal relationship not religion. JESUS IS LORD
He fulfills religion
wynnssecret 8 Lol "I don't kill people so I must be moral"

I have an upcoming trip to see many of my family members. I was just wondering how I should further the Gospel with them. I walked out of my room, picked up my phone and saw this video as one of the first in my feed!
If they do not know that you are a born again believer that would be a great place to start...just share your testimony with them.

Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive my sins and save me from eternal separation from God. By faith, I accept Your work and death on the cross as sufficient payment for my sins. Thank You for providing the way for me to know You and to have a relationship with my heavenly Father. Through faith in You, I have eternal life. Romans 5:8
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Have you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, was buried, rose from the grave, and was seen of many witnesses after? You must believe that gospel message about Jesus Christ to be saved from eternal damnation and instead go to heaven
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7

But I thankyou so much for your kindness and your words of wisdom I really needed to see that this morning I appreciate it so much
I love this team, thank you guys so much and praise the Lord!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That’s a great point, once they hear it a thousand times all we need to do is to love them and to really live the Christian life.
ladillalegos can you show me a scripture verse that says that?
I guarantee you that if your truly a born again Christian and living holy, you will open your mouth and preach to your family. Your family will hate it and separate from you, if they don’t have ears to hear.
(Luke 6:22, Luke 12:51-53, Jude 17-20, KJB)
There is no fellowship with unbelievers.
(2 Corinthians 6:14-17, Ephesians 5:11-13)
Jesus preached to sinners, He didn’t fellowship with them, He was separate.
(Hebrews 7:25-27, Luke 5:32).
I hope you can take the time to read these scripture verses and seek God on this. All scripture verses are from the King James Bible.
Hallelujah! This video popped up right on target. Thank you ABBA 🕊

integrity is very important for christians. it is doing what God has called you to do despite of you messing up sometimes and obeying and trusting God of the consequences of obedience.
Our family will see it first in us then they will believe...it not easy but eventually they will see Jesus in us and through us..."you will know them by their fruits"
i shared the gospel to my mom and it was hard at first but i learned from relatives and friends that my mom was telling them that something has changed about me...and now not only i am ministering to my mom but also to other members of the family...because of my testimony.
Let God work in you and obey no mattet how difficult it is...because your obedience now will make a great impact not only to your future but also to the people around you...all for God's glory.
Very encouraging thanks for sharing guys
This problem has made my heart heavy
One important thing to keep in mind is to live it before ones they will see. They will be diligent to observe. In a growing genuine relationship with Yeshua it manifests in many ways without even a word.
I have scared away my only brother, my uncle, my aunty and cousins thinking I should preach the Gospel to everyone including them
Thanks Kirk and everyone. Great video. 👍🙃
