I learned kwyn-nack-crah-dough-n, easier to abbreviate to ""quin" 😂 others prefer kwyn- a -crow- dough-n but that sounds wrong to me.

I have had it explained to me so many times and sometimes I say it no bother but then sometimes I overthink it and get all tongue-tied!

thanks Taria, this was really fun but I feel like I need a 101 basic course to add anything more. Can you recommend any online courses? I thought you had mentioned something in the past and I neglected to write it down. Thanks for all the content you share with us. This spread is so colorful and exciting!

Hi Taria. Jim from Madrid, Spain (a fellow artist and a New Yorker expat living abroad).
Nice to have you over in Spain, though too bad you're going to Barcelona instead of Madrid, otherwise I would've probably join your workshop.
In any case, Barcelona is a beautiful city and it's tight at the Mediterranean Sea so great beaches and usually good weather (a bit humid, though).
Gaudi's Architecture is amazing and Barcelona is full of it. You can't miss the "Sagrada Familia" Cathedral (it's jaw dropping and it's nearly complete now after I can't remember how many decades since it started).
Hope you have an amazing workshop over there and I'll watch this new series on Barcelona Urban Sketching from home.
Since you ask in your video, just wanted to share what I usually take with me for Plein Air/Urban Sketching...
I use Fountain Pens for ink & Wash (Sailor FUDE Dr Mannen 40°, TWSBI ECO , Lamy Safary , Pentel Pocket Brush (both with SketchInk waterproof ink as well as Parker Quinn Black soluable ink for ink washes), watercolor 18 color palette (similar to Art Kit but made it myself) with mainly Daniel Smith & some W&N colours, Faber-Castell 2mm Leadholders , 1 black Colour Pencil F-C Plychromo, Artgraph Watersoluble Graphite small Tin, 3 travel Brushes (Escoda Perks 10, Raphael Mop And Raphael Flat) + 2 waterbrushes (also for inking).
I also usually take 2 Sketchbooks with me: Hahnemuhle Nostalgie A4 + Hahnemuhle Square (20x20 cms) Watercolor Sketchbook (100% Cotton).
Maybe this info can help others too.
As I said... have a great trip and a successful workshop and I'll continue watching!
    Cheers from Sunny Spain!
    😁👍😎✌

Thanks Jim! I have been to Barcelona a few times actually! But not for a long time. Ooh the TWSBI Eco is my all time favourite fountain pen! And I also love the Pentel Pocket Brush pen. Ah thats great you also use the Hahnemuhle Nostalgie. I haven't tried the 100% cotton Hahnemuhle books yet.
Thanks for all the info Jim really appreciate it! And hope someday to get to Madrid :)
