      Hard to imagine what it would have been like to have lived there permanently, 300 years ago.

    Boy, I’ve slept in a few of these over the years and they are a lifesaver specially in the winter months boy which is most of the most of the trips that I’ve made if nearly always been in the winter and quite a few and the office they were fantastic and lifesaver

    Where I live in Wales, it has outstanding beauty and awesome scenery but Glen Duror is amazing the colours are outstanding would like to visit with my camera one day

      Spent a year in North Wales many years ago and have very fond memories. I am looking forward to visiting again, hopefully this year, for some hiking and camping. 🏕️

    This bothy looks safe it has a inside lock. So you can sleep without someone barge in.
    A compost toilet and a tap for water would be perfect.

      If you take the Auchindarroch turn off of the A828 and park in the forestry commission car park, you only have a 2 mile easy walk in. Just don’t miss the big bolders where you leave the forestry track like I did 🤦‍♂️

    Brittish Rule ! That is not Jame of the Glen and was not born there, go out the door and look up the Hill behind. See the new fire is still in good nick, put in Nov 23.
