Boy, I’ve slept in a few of these over the years and they are a lifesaver specially in the winter months boy which is most of the most of the trips that I’ve made if nearly always been in the winter and quite a few and the office they were fantastic and lifesaver
@oddartist3767 thank you for watching. One of the reasons I make these videos is so that people like yourself can share in my adventures. Hopefully you will get to have your own adventures at some point. 🤞
You’re welcome. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Might look quite different in the snow on Friday. Hope you have a good time! I’d be interested in footage you take when you are up.
Where I live in Wales, it has outstanding beauty and awesome scenery but Glen Duror is amazing the colours are outstanding would like to visit with my camera one day
Spent a year in North Wales many years ago and have very fond memories. I am looking forward to visiting again, hopefully this year, for some hiking and camping. 🏕️
If you take the Auchindarroch turn off of the A828 and park in the forestry commission car park, you only have a 2 mile easy walk in. Just don’t miss the big bolders where you leave the forestry track like I did 🤦♂️
Brittish Rule ! That is not Jame of the Glen and was not born there, go out the door and look up the Hill behind. See the new fire is still in good nick, put in Nov 23.
That drive down Glen coe brought some memories back
@atrampinthehills.841 sounds like you should be planning a revisit. 👍
A beautiful little Bothy and a great place to spend the night. Loved the drone footage. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it Chris, thanks for taking the time. 👍
Very informative and great views you cant beat a bothy night at this time of year.
Hard to imagine what it would have been like to have lived there permanently, 300 years ago.

I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing. I usually camp outside bothies as the mice are always outwitting me.
Thanks for taking the time and for your kind words, it’s much appreciated.
This bothy looks safe it has a inside lock. So you can sleep without someone barge in.
A compost toilet and a tap for water would be perfect.
At 0.29 just as you take the road winding to the left ......Jimmy Savilles old place on the right covered in graffitti......
Can u give us, miles into bothy, maybe some of the walk out
