I finished season 5 and was watching clips again and noticed something I didn't catch when I watched it the first time. When lucifer is talking about why he wants to be god. Chloe gets mad at him because he still doesn't know how she feels about him. In that same moment, she also mentioned Trixie was going to grow up without a father because of Lucifer's uncertainty about her. I wonder if the writers threw that in there to foreshadow a future wedding? Chloe basically admits in that moment of anger towards Lucifer, that he is worthy of being her child's father (stepdad) .
They look awesome on here Lucifer,and Chloe,hope he will be god and Chloe be his goddess,as well rule the universe,and yes and Trixie there sugar plume,as a happy family wish.
I like that they let Chloe get mad instead of just "aww poor Lucifer". Any normal person would be like "wtf?" to someone in Lucifer's place. At the same time, it shows you how much Lucifer has grown and yet he still has these trauma based insecurities. You tell someone a million times that you love them, but if they have severe trauma surrounding love, it'll be very hard for them to believe you until they do significant work on themselves. Lucifer wanting to be God in order to be worthy of Chloe, as Chloe said, is a big reason why he SHOULDN'T be. I'm glad it forced him to figure other reasons to be God.
