Black Star (Mos Def x Talib Kweli), Live Performance in NYC (May 2009)

Apologies in advance for the grainy/shaky footage. I was, and still am, a one-man crew.
Back in 2009, I was working with a small point-and-shoot camera (for video) and a separate recorder (for audio). Usually, I had the camera held up as high as possible with my right hand and the recorder at chest level with my left hand. The camera had no image stabilization and my arm got really tired as the show progressed, hence the shakiness. After the show, I had multiple video/audio files that required a manual sync in post. In a nutshell, this meant tons of hours spent staring at MC's lips (pause) as they recite one word and then attempting to find that EXACT spot in the audio, and then moving the files around in post to match it up. Fun times.
Peace to Chris V for aggressively pushing me to get the audio recorder. That purchase changed the whole trajectory of my videos.
