I think you could probably edit this into a piece for your main channel. It touches on the idea of discovering the things that are already around you.... of missing what's present in the rush to get to a predefined destination (your gate, the security check point, the train, baggage claim, et al)... of taking a moment to reflect on the past before moving towards your own future.

This is why I love your channels, Destin. You point out the little things that, while seemingly unimportant, carry enormous weight and significance and have a tremendous impact on our lives. Whether it be laminar flow or a small airport tribute to a truly great man, you encourage everyone to stop and smell the proverbial flowers. And while smelling those flowers, check out the amazing ways Nature engineered life on our planet! Thank you, Destin, for bringing excitement into those "little things".
    EDIT: Corrected grammar.

I can't think of any good reason not to share this with a wider audience. (Next time you're not sure, don't feel rushed; let the camera linger steadily for an extra beat so that anyone who wants to can pause and read the plaque or study the picture. You can always edit out a few seconds later if you think it's too long. That said, there was a spontaneity and an emotion that would be hard to recapture, and which I found touching, so my vote would be to release this as is rather than re-shoot or file it away. It's a gem that need not be cut or polished or compared to something possibly bigger and better. Thank you sharing it. Joe Gill

...My home. Atlanta. Not the same anymore. In the 60's, during white flight, all the politicians fled to the northside, leaving the southside to become like Decatur, a war zone. They just took their money, turned their backs, and walked away, never looking back. Airport or not. Been like that ever since, only worse. 3 burglaries, a carport door blown off, dead dog, in 10 years, and I was out of there!
ATL still home tho. Less the gentility.

I'm leaving for Europe in about a month and we are flying out of ATL, I will have to check that out for sure. I grew up in Birmingham AL and always heard stories about MKL Jr.
Fun fact: It is widely known that in his "I have a dream" speech he says "I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today..." Forty years later, there was a march held in Birmingham, lead by 4 young teens: one black boy, one white girl, one black girl, and one white boy, all hand in hand, fulfilling his dream. The white boy was my older brother. That's something I am really proud of.

Seeing this baseball bat really makes me think about "He's just the ordinary kind of guy, just a dad fighting through life." and it hits me that anyone can be as influential as Martin Luther King, there is only the necessity of motivation and principle to do so.

It is interesting that people think that segregation by skin colour is wrong, but segregation by gender is still apparently okay when it comes to toilets or showers... I always thought it would make so much more sense to separate between the people who are able to leave the place at least as clean as they enter and those who leave it messier.
