@qualitymotorsservicecenter3437 I did a few jeeps and others, and so far, using AutoAuth has worked very well. A few times, I had to read Pin 3 or 4 times, but it is well worth it . I don't need to take my time to look for connectors and pulling stuff apart to add a key or AKL. If I ever encounter a problem, then I'll go to the star connector. I can hear many people say you get paid for the time on the job. And I say the faster I get done, the happier the customer and the faster I move to the next job. And for the price of AutoAuth, it would be dumb not to use it unless your tools are not authentic tools.
Im looking for exactly this. Same vehicle. Q. If I have one (1) working key and then hit the "all keys lost", can that (1) origional key be re-used/uploaded back with say (2) new keys? Or would that origional key be garbage then?
It failed the 1st key… so do you have to have the xp 400 in order to generate Autel universal key? Also do you need the xp 400 to unlock keys? I have the im508 with the xp 200 but I don’t know if you could generate & unlock keys with xp 200 or not I haven’t tried. Thanks
Not to down play the effectiveness of this machine, which I must say is impressive. But why is the process so lengthy compared to let's say the smartpro. The advanced diagnostics method is much shorter and faster. All of the capabilities of this machine you would think you could speed this up a bit.
It only that it does not show you where does the cables go so tell me what good is this video because imagine you connecting the cable to the wrong place and then messing everything up tell me don’t you think so too
If you look closely when they show the green strip (which is on the side panel by the glovebox) where you plug in the star connector, you will notice 3 empty spots that you use anyone to plug in the star connector. You will notice they are blinking on and off in a transparent blue color. Ihope that explains. It took me a couple viewings to catch it. @@amidfloridalocksmith1720
Great job guys! Nice demo for these Uni keys.
Thanks so much!
does AUTEL IM508+XP400 do the same as Km100? which will be more universal for each brand?
sir if i lost all key may i used outel 508 to program smart key in this car? what's need for that?
Yes, that process is exact to the one followed in this video. you just need two Programmable Keys,
How reliable is doing it with autoauth?
Great description of the process, thanks for sharing.
Very reliable, depending on your wifi connection.
@@UHSHardware Thank you.
Great Question! I was wondering the same thing

So, I just used my IM508 to the OBD and programmed my 2019 Challenger. No 10/8 etc connector
Can u use a aftermarket key is that why u using a Universal key
if you follow the programming steps and skip the generation portion then this is the same tutotial for an aftermarket, or OEM keyt.

yes you can, you can program any key which was programmed to the car

Yes. XP400 is to generate the keys. Also the KM100. We will get back to you regarding unlocking.TY
Can the mk100 do this with the bypass cable? Please get back to me
thanks for showing me how to steal a car with keypad
YW good luck with jail!

Hey my Friend what is the smartpro?

The other connection is the OBD port on the driver's side, under the steering wheel by your left knee. If you didn't know that part already.
Hope this isnt a customer car placing tools and things on that paint lol!
wasnt helpful that you missed connecting the bypass cable- the most important step here
the bypass cable shown at 00:23 connects to the empty ports shown at 03:45. Please let us know if that clears up the confusion. Thanks!
Theres (5) empty ports and the connector looks like (1) port..... hummmmmmmm
@@wiley0714 I see 3 open ports. I’d rather use the probes the brute force cable instead of bypass one
@@pouncerminned863 bypass cable is easy af
@@Cali415 I just heard mixed stuff about it which is why I’m on fence about it. I may get it and just try it!
