The rotate tool is one of the most difficult of the modify tools. If it not well understood, gives unexpected results. Your explanation is clear, concise, and your method is easy to understand. Thanks
@@ArchitectureVanguard I recently enrolled in a Revit class along with a book required for the course. I am trying to readjust walls that are already connected. I had a hell of a time readjusting the walls per the book. It is the first level of a house with multiple pop outs. A few pages later, there are new dimensions for all of the walls. It seems the only way to readjust them, is to disconnect the last wall. Does that sound correct? Is that the most efficient way?
Quite the reaction! Most of the time, I would avoid rotating elements in families with constraints. You will not have a good time. Rebuilding the element/parameters is a better idea at that point. I do not feel your pain if you are talking about elements in a project. Assuming you are working in an view with a constant work plane, then you will have good luck rotating elements. Constraints are still not your friend of course regardless of rotating in the project or in families.

Great explanation. I am having trouble with rotate and attach to something. I would appreciate a video about that. Thank you.
I can do that, but what do you you mean by rotating and attaching? I know attaching but what about rotate and attach. Can you give me an example?
Thanks brother
