Driving to the RUSSIA - NORWAY Border

we drive to a remote location on the Russian Norwegian border near the town of Kirkenes Norway.My friend tells an old Cold War story about a spy named Rudolf Abel from the 1960s.

You know, there's the story of the U2 spy plane as well, that had to land in the Soviet Union. They made a film about it recently, starring Tom Hanks. It's called Bridge of Spies. Well, one little detail I don't think was included in the film, was that the U2 spy plane had to fly into Norwegisn airspace before reaching the USSR, and so the Soviets blamed Norway for the spy planed and threatened to nuke us (Norway) over it. Luckily, that just remained a threat.

In places like this half of stories are fictions people genuinely believe is true. Do u know btw that Russian troops entered Kirkenes during ww2 in the end of 1944 and there was heavy fighting there.
