Hi everyone, The reason I use PAtoon for the model and PAtoonLite for the stage is not only to show you their difference but also to demonstrate how you can set up the scene so that the stage won't cast shadows on the model. In the mscolorCorrection controller, I mistakenly clicked on Null_03 instead of Null_05 around 06:57. If you feel that the color is too saturated, you can either leave Null_09 in the mscolorCorrection controller as is or set a lower value. The final result will vary depending on the model and stage you use. Don't be afraid to experiment with the controller's values until you achieve your desired result. For newcomers to this channel, if you're interested in a different approach to achieving a toon style, you can check out my Ray-mmd Toon Shader tutorial. The link is in the description of the video, or you can find it on my channel. Lastly, if you've found my tutorials helpful and would like to support my work, consider buying me a coffee on my Ko-fi page: ko-fi.com/theweebdev. Your support helps me create more content like this. Thanks for watching my videos, and see you in the next tutorial!

IKPolishShader is similar to Raycast, and the setup process is almost the same. It's like setting up Raycast but the names of the FX files and MME tabs are different. That being said, Raycast offers more functionality, which is why I have many tutorials covering its different uses and setups that can't be covered in one video.
Let's narrow down the problem by finishing the tutorial first using the model provided before using your own model so you can determine whether you followed the tutorial correctly or it has to do with the model itself
Hello! I'm wondering if it's just the model, but upon loading PAToon and positioning it where you say to, the slider controls don't do anything to the shadows except for on the model's shins?
It was purposely made like that if you read the pinned comment so the stage wont cast shadow to the model. The reason the model is only affected by the controller is because it uses PAToon and the stage is using PAToon lite. In the tutorial, it says PAToon lite is controlled through environment lighting and PAToon is for fake shadows using the controller. If you want the stage to be affected by the controller as well, assign PAToon to the stage as well instead of PAToon Lite
@@theweebdev That's not at all what I was talking about. I follow your steps and after changing ShadeSync to 1 nothing happens on the model. Absolutely nothing changes.
