You hit it hard and nailed it with your own flavor. Guys like you are why i support the youtube scene so much. For making art so available to the people. @BurnThePope0514 Best to keep the idea of using a marching stick on a kit to yourself. People love to lecture about that. They're not for everyone. They're the heaviest marching stick and it takes a lot training/hand strength to use them. It seems like some people are buying them because it's sort of 'trendy' in the drum community. Just be careful and don't hurt yourself! I'm thinking about switching to a lighter stick again, but I'm a little torn. We'll see how these other pairs record!
@mdterps1042 I've been using the Magnums for about 4 or 5 months now, simply for want of a heavier stick. Sometimes I also consider going back to lighter sticks, both for price and for the sake of my heads and cymbals, but honestly don't like the feel. Did you just go buy a few pairs of good 'ol Mangini Sigs (great, but extremely inconsistent), or did you try even lighter pairs?
Craziest thing, Alex should be the new drummer for these (soilwork)guys. Don’t get me wrong, Bastian is really good, however everything I’ve ever heard this guy (Alex) play is spot on. Killing it as they say.
Im sure Hernan Hermida of All Shall Perish would take that as a compliment. Bjorn Strid is a legend and has been around a long time. I quite enjoy both vocalists.

yo alex, try using Evans EC2 Clears for your floor toms and keep the G2 clears on the tom tom's. I'm rocking that config right now and fucking love it. Much better than G2's on the floor toms. also try out the evans Onyx for the snare. Once you go black, you'll never go back.

I don't know about you, but these bastards really laid into my index fingers.

Little late for the party, possibly my favorite Soilwork song so I am going to be that guy to critisize =( As much as I like Mike's singing, he really let the cover down on the melodic chorus (I am waiting... For something to show... I might as well...). Apart from that, top notch.
