RIP 🪦 famous Sycamore Gap tree from Hadrian's Wall, which was felled in late September in a shocking act of vandalism in northern England. The tree's stump will remain.
The 50-foot tree, which had stood in the historic landscape for nearly 200 years.

There are so MANY MORE old, HUGE Redwoods, inside of the state of California, I'm guessing you'd have to devote this entire vid to California's Sequoia's and it's Pacific Redwoods.

You should do before and after pictures of great lands that now have a city on top of it.
Like las Vegas use to be geyser country but now a city.
Or how Florida was mostly a flooded river ecosystem but now a big multiple cities.
    Stuff like that.

Before I give you five stars for this video, I would like to enter South Africa into the competition for hosting the oldest tree in the world. I invite you to come count the rings of a few hardekool (leadwood) trees. And what about the Wonderboom ("Wonder Tree") in Pretoria. Thank you for this video, I love nature 🙂

There's a tree on the coast in Texas that's 2,500 years old. It's only 40 feet tall, but it has a huge circumference. The diameter is over 38 feet. About the length of 4 suv's end to end.

the ring counting method used with the pintage points as you see used in the end may no way in this matter have an affect to help you discover how old many trees may be.simply due to the fact that life and trees have the ability to age longer in a duration of a periodical time before having the moments to age longer and transforming an age linuery as many do and have assumed!

There are gigantic Ponderosa Pines in Long Valley atop Mt.San Jacinto, 8500 feet above Palm Springs, Calif. You can get there by riding the tram to the huge lodge on top! By going out the rear doors, and taking a footpath down to Long Valley!

If you haven't gone to the very top of these trees, you should! There is a whole ecological zone there, a microcosm all its own! In one I saw tiny fish in a small water e catchment! It has its own plants and everything! But this was years ago. With today's drones, you can go up and see for yourself!

Why do we, who are so short lived compared to these giants, feel we have the right to damage or kill them just to satisfy our curiosity? I don't care how old these trees really are. A thousand years, give or take, is none of our business.

I live in Northen Europe'sScandinavian Finland's countryside where is BIG forests arounds us I see trees on everyday, there is firs and bircher trees on our backyard defienitily our two BIG birchers trees are really old. Trees are most important plants what gives oxygen for us so that's why it's important to protect trees. I've been visiting in Sweden on this year's july 2023, next time when im visit in Sweden I wan't to visit to see that Old Tjikko tree what is one of oldest trees here in Scandinavia. That video was good, trees are amazing. 🌍🏞🌲🌳🇫🇮🇦🇽🇸🇪🇧🇻🇩🇰🇮🇸
