Fun fact! That mandibuzz and breviary actually have their hidden abilities. So if you catch them, you have their hidden abilities. (Mandibuzz is black 2 exclusive and braviary and white 2 exclusive)
One of the most underrated pokemon games, even all these years its still very fun to play specially because of how much pokemon you can catch from different regions as well as the black/white kyurem transformation my favorite pokemon so far and the fact you can change difficulty its very nice.

I loved these games as a kid... I had a samurott which I got all the way up to lv 100 and a Serperior named "LUCKUS" (Lucas), I was a kid so obviously I spelt it wrong. I remember I also named myself "DSH" (Ash) because I struggled to tell the difference between A and D..... I also use to transfer ALL my pokemon to that game so I had all sorts of things on there. My team was a lv 100 samurott, a lv 100 "LUCKUS", Zekrom, Kyurem, Latios and an Aggron. The amount of nostalgia I get from these games is wild! Sadly, in 2015, I sold the game... The store I sold it at had a ridiculous policy where they would only accept games which still had the manual.... To cut it short, I still had my B2 manual so I sold it because I was a stupid kid. Its easily one of my biggest regrets in life....
Your rival will always have the opposite starter you chose. So one line down And if I recall Nate/Rosa in nimbasa city will have the middle stage of whichever Pokemon that is weak to your starter
Are all of these resetable ? Or are they shinylocked like the legendaries ? I dont wanna start a hunt before knowing about this lmao but there are some really cool pokémon, I'd love to hunt-reset some of them
I spent so much time looking for that Dragonite as a kid. Never did find it lol. It's a 1% chance it spawns, and hidden grottos only respawn every so often.

Cobalion as well Terrakion conically make an appearance in front of the player with and ,while you can choose not to battle them, them appearing is unavoidable. Virizion will do the same but the route that happens is blocked until we've stopped Team Plasma. There is also the Pokemon Nate, Rosa, Hilbert, and Hilda will select from for their teams when they're your partners on the Battle Subway but I'm not sure those count unless your specifically using a least based on any Pokemon they've appeared with in game.
In the manga, as to where I am, his team is composed of Dewott, Keldeo, Genesect, and I think Kabutops.
He has Braviary in Masters, very possible the one you can catch in Route 4
1:08 I’m still confused to this day, that those spots are considered “gaps” in the trees. 🤣
lol ya same
These grottos are *"HIDDEN"* for a reason...
@@Thomas_Morse they can be called “hidden”, but visually, ANY other trees next to it has a much more legitimate gap lol
@@Radnick0024 the world of pokēmon has it's own form of logic, just roll with it man...
That desert Braviary was the most hype thing I had ever seen playing this game. I still have it years later.
I stumbled across the Volcarona by accident in my Black 2 playthrough, and it became an essential part of my team.
I have never seen that hidden grotto for dragonite before im gonna look for it after im done replaying the game
Its near the dragonspiral tower. Also u can find it while surfing/fishing on the water spot
Thank you for the info i will definitely check it out
@@contraryshinysnivy she said Hidden Grotto, which is on Route 18, left side of Nuvema Town, which is also how you get to the P2-laboratory and Team Plasma's ship in B2/W2.
Because the Hidden Grotto CAN have Dragonite with its Hidden Ability Multiscale.
The Dragonite's you can catch in the rippling water at the Dragonspiral Tower won't have that, ever.
@@contraryshinysnivy
not true btw, Benga just gives you a regular Shiny Dratini without Hidden Ability
for that you need the Multiscale Dragonite from the Hidden Grotto first. And if you want to go an entire step further, you also get the Dratini with Extreme Speed from HG/SS, transfer it to B2/W2 and THEN breed yourself a Dratini with Hidden Ability + Extreme Speed combined and if you're lucky (although that would probably take ages) you hatch a Shiny one. :D
@@contraryshinysnivy yeah, I know but she said that she'd be looking for the Hidden Grotto which, again, is at the left side of Nuvema Town.
So you mentioning Dragonspiral Tower wasn't 100% correct, only the fact that you can catch the entire evolution line of Dratini there.
No worries, I'm not trying to act superior over you or anything, just to give information about the Hidden Grotto location. :)

Love to see the 1% appearance rate dragonite alongside a god damn foongus
the first time i found Volcarona in the relic castle, i thought it was a legendary pokemon cause i havn't seen one before
With how great it’s stats are, it definitely feels like one!
Well, after all we still don't have a legendary bug type, so it makes a lot of sense too.
Also since it's a bug fire it's easy to say that.
Ome of the seven sages said that a legendary lives there so I was dead on sure that it was a legendary 🤣
@@Qurupeco41 you are calling volcarona a legendary because there isnt a bug type one when volcarona belongs to the generation when genesect was introduced :(
I swear gen 5 music always hits different
I still can’t believe that the fandom criticized the design of some pokemon such as trubbish, vanilite, among others, when the 5th generation was one of the best in how much history and the beginning of the competitive, today it takes a lot of magic that made you feel pokemon of the history and mysteries of a new region.
I think Vannilites design was fire 🔥. It was so good to be honest. Trubbishs design was okay though, I don’t think they should change it too much.
I like gen ,the art and pixel is ok instead of 3d and megashitvolution not in gen 5.gen 5is the last pokemon i play i guess.
I've never completed the Pokedex in any pokemon game, though I'm trying to work on it in PLA, Scarlet, and White in my free time... but I love that BW2 actually rewards the player for doing so
Oh I love the bw games.
They're just full of content
arrr I miss this game so much...

was the shiny Reshiram 1st encounter?
You found a shiny *Reshi-what!?!?!?*
Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem are all shiny locked in both BW and BW2. You couldn't have gotten it unless you used cheats...

Glad I'm not the only one playing this in 2021. Also I caught the Braviary in a 1st turn quick ball and named him Captain Falcon.

Unfortunately it couldn't fit so it says "CaptFalcon" instead like the abbreviation from smash 64.

The hidden grottos are totally worth to farm because of the pokemons with hidden abilitys
Currently playing the game and still love it! If anything it aged like a fine wine! 👌
This was hands down. The best Pokémon game!
Thank you really mixeli, you always help me when it comes to Pokemon games, because of you, i get a Braviary before it was level 50
I remember when I was younger, I had to sneak on to my DS on Mondays to catch Braviary because that was the day it appeared and I wasn't normally allowed on during weekdays. I also didn't know much about time travel back then.
XD
Despite the fact that this game sold like nothing, it is such a good fucking sequel and just a great game.
I always wondered would the shiny Haxorus come back if it got defeated? Or no
No

The nostalgia man the nostalgia.....
Man I was so glad that I could get Volcarona before beating the game. it's like my second favorite Pokemon of all time Lucario being my first.
I diched my Pignite after I got Volcarona. Such a majestic Pokemon.
Damn bro Lucario and Volcarona are my favourites too!
Let’s just talk about how good the driftveil city theme is
i listen to it during my workout
Fun fact! That mandibuzz and breviary actually have their hidden abilities. So if you catch them, you have their hidden abilities. (Mandibuzz is black 2 exclusive and braviary and white 2 exclusive)
Geez, this game on a emulator looks so beauty!
One of the most underrated pokemon games, even all these years its still very fun to play specially because of how much pokemon you can catch from different regions as well as the black/white kyurem transformation my favorite pokemon so far and the fact you can change difficulty its very nice.
How did I not know about most of these
Black and White 2 were seriously overstuffed with hidden extra content. Gives you a sense of appreciation for this game and the developers

If you still have the DS just buy a R4 and get B2 rom, im pretty sure ur save stays inside the DS and not on the cartridge
