Super DD Dalarna - Incredible Firing Angles

- I wasn't too sure where the Dalarna would land after all the back and forth with the reload, but turns out it's actually pretty damn fun, mostly thanks to some of the best firing angles I've seen on a Destroyer. Plays less like Halland and more like Småland, but still fun.

T10 MM going to become a supership only mode soon.
and we have only playerbase to blame, players happily accepting bribe missions and riding on "sense of pride and accomplishment" when they annihilate other outdated ships.
if players didnt feed spreadshit with data that supports wg "we doing well, people like it" things would be different
T9 MM basically a corpse because of supershits now.
The game became a corpse to me. And by the looks of it keeps rotting away.

@@burt591 I have 7k games since beta. I played Conde in ranked a few games and Annapolis is CBs because CBs.. but I'll continue to maintain my 0 supership battles in randoms.

Agreed. I love Hindy but Clausnowitz isn't good enough to justify the credit loss and more Super ship games.

Hell no. Well yes, it's not as overpowered as the rest of them, but it's still stupidly powerful in comparison to every T10 dd.... it's a heavily buffed version of the halland, and the halland itself is already extremely strong. Now the Dalarna gets very high dpm, stupidly good torps, a very high healthpool, absurdly good AA, a speedboost, a GODDAMN heal, while the concealment is still average for T10 dd standarts. That's completely nuts. It's basically the best dd in every categorie...
I have dalarna, trust me, you rape every dd in the game in 1v1, against t9 dds you can 2v1 easily

@@Kvomii We don't compare T10 DD's with T9 standards, do we? It's a T11, so look at it from that perspective.
@@daanydoomboy5593 T11 shouldn't even exist in the first place, and since the majority of ships that it'll be fighting are T10s, I think that comparing it to them is reasonable.
But then again, complaining won't change anything anyway because Wargaming is totally amazing...
superships should be a tier on its own, but a reasonable decision is not what WG does

Flolo made me think with negative damage torps vs. Satsuma's million torpedo belt that they instead heal the guy instead of hurting them. lol.
swirski really shines on this DD. I easily get def AA experts in her all the time, I love her so much bros lol
Honestly I'm fine with superships being overpowered as that is the original intent. However, instead of reduced economy it should be a straight 1mil+ buy just to use the ship. And then you have to earn over 1 mil plus service cost to break even. If your going to play a broken ship (especially for steel and coal) you should be playing on a credit loss. So players arnt just spamming them every single time
Which makes the game even dumber for people that are trying to be competitive without paying...? Like c'mon mate everyone gets bored and so we constantly grind new lines which requires a stupid amount of credits anyway. If you make superships even more expensive to use, the game will simply get even more Pay to Win (and with that even worse for everyone involved).
The whole supership situation has gotten so bad that I'm actually convinced that the only way of actually "fixing" them is to simply remove them from random battles. Besides, they are all basically pure Wargaming-bullshit-ish fantasy ships anyway, so noone would miss them.
T10 is already a horrible place these days; and superships are keeping the Wargaming trend alive: Powercreep, Worse economy every goddamn year, endless amounts of stupid premiums and generally the game becomes more and more unplayable due to bugs that this stupid company (which I'll fight anyone for; they are scumbags that treated their community and the CCs like litteral trash) simply just won't fix because they won't bring money in. I still really like this game, but Top Tier has become a hot mess of endless f_cking bullshit.

Dalarna may be smokeless but she looks terrifying.
Dalarna is basically 1/2 Smolensk interns of fire making
But better all of other thing
It's a DD so can't be citadel
Has a better torp
Has lot better concealment
9/10 would have pick dalarna
The only thing that Smolensk win is having a smoke and hydro

Hey guys, can anyone help me find a certain flamu vid again: It is a real shitshow where his team totally sucks and he carries hard but dies near the end and then in the most amazing plottwist his last potato teammate hits a smokefire-blindshot on the enemy dd in literally the last seconds of the game. I remember flamus ecstatic reaction being super entertaining but just cant finfd the video🙂
T10 and Superships only from now on. Everytime i play t7-9 its like 90% uptier +2 MM. Ive given up on it. T10 only from now on.
I got Dalarna in the bid and have ~150 games in her. I run a full 95knot torp build with SiS and RPF. The guns are pretty useless. They are very inaccurate. Don’t gunfight. They are mostly useful for finishing off wounded reds. The torps are the key with 68.9 sec reload, with fast switching to the high damage/short range torps for close in work. The extra knot of speed is nice. AA is a bit better too. I have about 1200 games in Halland, and Dalarna seems to get a bit more XP for equivalent battle performance. It’s basically a slightly better Halland; a Tier 11, not a Supership.
It’s funny. I just actually was able to watch the video, after I wrote my comment above, and my experience has been opposite Flamu. This ship shines as a torp boat. I have a very tough time making this ship work as a gunboat because it is very tough to hit consistently with the guns. Also, on Halland and Dalarna, torpedo speed is everything. That last five knots increases hit chance 10% (Hit probability increases as the square of torp velocity.). With the guns, I often see salvos disperse all around DDs at 6-7 km without hitting.
Look at Flamu’s volleys aimed at Patrice and Satsuma. He was dispersing all around them with very low hit percentage. But, what do I know? He scores higher than I do generally.

Flamu why do you use the Q E feature to steer the ship not A and D?
You don't need to keep your finger on it.
Battleship habbits and its just more comfortabel. A and D are for torpedo beats or some DD gunfights
Also at some point there was a bug that the game would stop accepting the input if you kept pressing A or D which meant the ship stopped turning the way you expected it to while you were still pressing the button. Fun times...

Nobody within his range anymore. There's a slight grey area in this instance where you can lock-onto and shoot a target that's at your max range and remain dark since they're coming towards you.
I intentionally sailed south so that the Satsuma was out of range. Your firing range = your detection range.
