Hey man was just wondering how you would run new speaker wire for this car. I'm installing some Blam speakers that are rated for 100rms at 2ohms, so I figured I'd need bigger wire but I'm unsure how I'd wire that up while still keeping the rear speakers wired up stock. Do I just cut the wires that are for front speakers and leave the rear?
Great, now I also need a RCA converter, I have The Dayton Audio DSP-408 (purchased yesterday, should arrive during this week) , there are inputs for highs, etc... could it be used as a converter?
Nice setup. Would a PAC T harness do the same as your T harness? I’m working on a 2018 Crosstrek. Anything I should worry about frying the starlink? I don’t use it anyway 😀
I see the Telematics module when he connects the plugs @14:40 but he doesn’t seem to connect any plugs into it. Hard to see with his head blocking the view. I have the 2019 forester premium, with 6.5in display, no nav, with OnStar, and no amp. I just have the basic speaker setup, 2 tweeters in the dash, 2 in the front and back door. From the wiring diagram of the (no amp, with telematics) Forester, it looks like the front dash and front door speakers go through the telematics module. Looks like they’re wired as a component speaker set up-2 channels up front. Anyway, if anyone figures this out, let me know. I’m going to buy an amp from Crutchfield and see if they can help. God, I hate Starlink! Good luck!
Are there harness plugs like that for a 2021 Outback XT with HK audio? I followed the link in the description and looked around on Amazon but didn't see them.
I wanted to see how to access the stock 8” sub in the Touring model. Unfortunately, this was a huge waste of time based on the video’s description. Thanks.
Parts used linked in the description of the video!
Your videos are the best!
Glad you like them!
I’m guessing this vehicle doesn’t have the StarLink module?
Great video sir

Did you run into any issues with the starlink telematics with this install?
Good stuff man

How many Watts is the stock head unit infotainment system? I have 2024 Crosstrek and thinking about upgrading it
can you do a set up video for a jl audio JD 400-4 cass d 4channel amp, with focal speakers and kenwood excelon DNX 693
Will this same setup work on a 2024 ascent w/o HK upgrade?
Will this install steps that you took also apply to a 2022 Subaru WRX non HK
Does this vehicle have the starlink system and how did you get around it?
Does this work for outbacks?
Will this same t harness work on 2023 and up model Ascent?

Did you lose fader function with that configuration?
any reason that you didn't heat shrink the gray wires?
how much do you charge for a harness like this one?
Send me a message on our Facebook page and we can chat!
I would like one as well!
Did you ever get a response?
What does looped it through mean please
When was that said?
@@ProvoBeastAudio at 6:39 you say bridge then almost immediately after keep referring to it as looping.
You lost me on the connection to the lc2i rca input and output
