Did you add bass to the cobras audio? It sounds like the strykers I’ve seen you do.
Yes sir the hifi is what produces the bass that and the echo adds alot of range and the 5band eq if we did that on this radio. Those mods can be done to any radio the v1 955/655 just sound the best in the end.
@@DRail1990 I have echo added on my 29 ltd but that’s all that’s been done on the audio really except wattage bump. I really like the bass that you add to the radios. It makes the radios sound 100X better than with normal audio and gives that studio sound.
@@LifewithJames yes sir I agree also most of the echo boards are garbage for passing good bass or bandwidth as well so only one or 2 that is worth having. 1 in particular is my favorite.
@@DRail1990 I have no idea which board is in mine. I had it done probably 4-5 years ago now. Until recently I hadn’t even known about the bass mod. I thought I’d pretty much seen/had everything done that I could.
Are the 29 still the AM audio kings or is it just cheaper than the stykers? Thanks
Some people want a lower drive options for 1x and 2x stages in pill boxes. They don't come close to the am audio of a version 1 955. All of them suck out of the box but with the work done the 655/955 version 1 beats everything.

The radios are shipped the day I make the video I only video maybe 1% of the stuff we sell for those that request me to on ship out orders it left the day of the video 4 plus months ago.

Yeah it's horrible to be interrupted by a customer?! Pause the video and come back to it. He lost a potential customer because of the way he talked to them. You wanna make videos without being interrupted? Try after you close up.
@timmyreed5860 The person at the beginning of the video was a customer who was kind enough to wait patiently. My installer walked in like he usually does to tell me to hand him something over the bench, that is who I told I'm making a video too. Basically telling him to walk around and get what he needed.
