Apologies about the green lasers coming out from the U-wing, Guys! I was on auto-pilot ( no pun intended) and totally missed this detail. Keep in mind all you have to do is use the exact same method but with a red transparent spray. Lesson learned 😂 Have an awesome day!
Doesn’t ruin it man, it’s pretty easy to assume that the rebel ships would fire green and empire would fire red, George Lucas is the backward one here, not you.
Hey Chris just wanted to thank you for the entertainment you have provided this last year and hope you and Laura have a cracking Christmas and new year. thanks man!
That moment when you realize that you haven't seen a Cosplay Chris custom collectibles video in a while and get really happy when you get a notification!
I’ve watched this video so many times that I’ve gone about making this myself. Even though I don’t have all of the tools and talent he has, my ongoing results and improvisations are turning out very well. I continue to watch this video for reference on certain areas such as the smoke and flames.
Awesome video as usual. The timing couldn't be better either. I'm expecting this same U-wing for Christmas and I'm planning to customize it, so you've given me some good ideas.
Chris, just a recommendation, always clamp down your material to the table and use both hands when using power tools, especially with the angle grinder as it could kickback and you could get hurt, awesome video as always!
That's sweet. It would be cool to light up those acrylic rods. Maybe put the entire dio against a black back and paint the clear sections black. Maybe the green would light up?
Yeah, you can actually read "sarcasme". Artistic license is giving yourself A LOT of credit. And now I'm a douchenoggin? Pick a lane, Leon. Also, don't worry. I know I'm a failed abortion. Mom showed me the birth certificate from the factory.
As per bloody usual, Great work mate! Just one minor problem for me, TIE/N Strikers aren't used for space combat as their repulsorlifts aren't strong enough to propel them out of atmosphere. They rely on the atmosphere to help propel them, by catching air under the "solar sails" (wings) like a plane. The repulsorlifts basically just serve the same job as an engine, pushing it forwards, backwards or whatever other way the pilot would need to manoeuvre. Basically they're the Star Wars equivalent to a fighter jet.
Dude that is epic! I think you shoulda done a space background in the style of your Turtles diorama. That would make it look wicked sick! And the poles would blend nicely against the black back drop to give more illusion to the ships flying.
I know what I’m trying for my next custom collectible. Thank you Chris you’re a massive inspiration to all us geeks and geeketes. Merry Christmas to you and Laura.
AMAZING! I saw this in your Etsy store before I saw that you had uploaded this video and was blown away by how good the explosion looked. Awesome job (as always)
Really cool, just one thing i would do differently are the lasers. I would made them synchronized, cause main cannons always shoots together. But love the explosion effect 👍
Really great work dude but I hate to tell you if you wanted it film accurate you wanted to use red for the lazers. The Rebels used red the Empire used green.

Cosplay Chris still awesome!
Great job. You should probably do a halo boomco gun. Just my opinion
Doesn’t ruin it man, it’s pretty easy to assume that the rebel ships would fire green and empire would fire red, George Lucas is the backward one here, not you.

I would never thought to use that material for the smoke and fire. It so simple yet brilliant AF!!!!
Christening the new build space with a kickass custom. NICE!!
The light really helps sell it. I was pretty sure it wasn't going to look good but the light really sets it off.

Loving your new workshop and can see clear as day in your garage
Absolutely awesome!!! Simple yet massively effective
That moment when you realize that you haven't seen a Cosplay Chris custom collectibles video in a while and get really happy when you get a notification!
Holy crap a simple coat of shoe polish made that look amazing
The kiwi shoe polish I use in every one of my custom collectibles I make
same here, do you have pics?
How do you keep it from rubbing off? Does it stick and cure like paint or does it require a clearcoat?
One more comment I just realised that I’ve been watching your videos for a year now and loved it
Fire effect looks spot on.
Dude your workshop is a dream! I love it. Great job as always! I really like your smoke effects. Very creative

excellent concept and execution literally
Good job on the pillow filler , I started using the stuff a few months back on my Bespin diorama and its very easy to use and sculpt.
You never cease to blow my mind Chris
Awesome video as usual. The timing couldn't be better either. I'm expecting this same U-wing for Christmas and I'm planning to customize it, so you've given me some good ideas.
You REALLY outdid yourself this time!

WOW! ... just wow!
That's incredible! Very enticing. But I feel the lasers bring it down a bit.

Doctor Kalkyl of the 501st yes it can or are you being sarcastic
Doctor Kalkyl of the 501st they can, just more efficiently in atmosphere
ReganMcCauley maybe Chris is colour blind lol
Regan - shutup, nerd!
Yeah, you can actually read "sarcasme". Artistic license is giving yourself A LOT of credit.

Chris, I tried out your shoe polish idea on a Groot figure I bought and it came out fantastic! Awesome idea. Happy birthday!
