I'm a big fan of your channel and I love watching all of your videos, on illustration, activism, veganism, the environment, etc. But I must admit that I missed your painting videos ;) ! I am happy to see them come back and to see a glimpse of your life as an illustrator, it is a real pleasure to watch! This illustration is incredible, wow! And don't forget to be kind to yourself too ;) . Wishing the second half of 2020 will be better for everyone!
Thank you for your passion to the art craft. I enjoyed this video as I have enjoyed the other ones you have done. This as I have discovered is a tricky assignment as I have tried it myself so far with little success. Well done. Top shelf.
Just looking at your artwork inspires me! You are honestly one of my favourite watercolour artists and this illustration looks insanely delicious! Thank you, Holly! Have a beautiful day
thank you for posting information about payment/licensing! very few artists do, and it makes it hard to price my own artwork when I have no reference! you are so helpful and such an inspiration! lovely painting as always :)
The way you layer watercolour still astounds me! I'm still struggling with watercolour and end up with all the colours muddied up and heavy. I think its because I have no patience lol... Really enjoyed watching the process, as always inspiring me to try harder or just try again. Take care :)
I was literally just catching up on patreon posts this morning and finished the vid of your process on this piece, your work and process is so mesmerising that I’m quite happily watching this again😊😁 take care
I love watching you work! Thank you for being transparent about the fee and working with brands - that is so refreshing to see. Do you tend to wait for the paint to dry before layering other colors on top? -Rachel

Thank you Rachel! Hmmm, had to think about that. I think I do! I tend to move to a different part of the painting and come back to it once dry. I use quite a dry brush so it doesn't take long to dry.
Beautiful! 😍 Some people like to meditate, I like to watch Holly Exley paint😂 so relaxing xx
aahhh this makes me so happy!
That looks really nice! One can see the amount of work that went in!
thank you!!

Thank you for being so honest about your fee, Holly. As usual, it is so calming watching your painting process
No problem! I am going to be more transparent going forward (inspired by other illustrators who are already doing this) 💙
