Great video, wish we had Autobahns here in the US so I could actually take my 987 out at full speed. I'm stuck to track days here for that. Also really clean downshift at 0:45
Thanks for your great feedback! It's really great that we still have a few spots on the motorways where you can and are allowed to drive so fast. But driving on the racetrack and taking part in trackdays is even more fun.
Thank you very much! Yes, I know what you mean and I really appreciate the fact that we are still allowed to drive here without a speed limit. The car is just great fun! Always and everywhere, you're absolutely right!
Wow! That was amazing! I have a question though, every time you changed gear it sounded like it was grinding, was it grinding or is that the normal sound?
Thanks to you! No, it's all normal. What you hear is the throttle, I guess. I removed the insulation above the engine. The engine is now only separated from the interior by an aluminium plate. That's why it sounds so good in the interior. 🙂The exhaust is original.
@@brtgmmotors I was gonna say, I never remembered hearing that kind of induction noise in one of these. I'm hoping to get one within the next year and if I do this is mod #1

Meh... I am happy with the power/weight ratio of the Cayman, MX5 or S2000. Lower power means more fun going through the gears and revving out the engine in the twisties. 0-60 in around 6 seconds is more then enough for my 987.2. But if your saying the Porsche cars are overpriced for the power you get. I could see some argument there for sure.
