109 days of adventure at sea, with every day being a question of survival is clearly living. I sincerely love joining your travels vicariously and wish you safe travels brother.
I still don't understand why you don't have more views and subscribers, I watched your Bike video and then this one back to back. I can't wait to see what adventure you go on next!
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us Maks...the journey on the motorbike and boat is impressive, but your disposition and attitude are what really make it remarkable...calm, cool and reasonable despite the conditions. Keep it up!
Just watched Alaska to Argentina and this back to back. You're a living Alexander Supertramp (Chris McCandless) from "Into The Wild" You're great at showing when you put yourself in uncomfortable, undesirable situations, whether directly or indirectly, the outcome is it really makes you appreciate the things we often take for granted. Like just being alive.
I also just watched these two vids back to back and though it is unlikely in my mind this reed boat was the first part of his plan to get back home after being stranded in south America.
Amazing video. This is how life should be, pure adventure. I'd love if you could talk about the experience in an another video, explaining how it is life on the ocean and how did you felt like in various moments of the expedition.
Amazing journey, I only just happened on your bike video today and by chance saw this has been uploaded 2 days ago. You lived a true adventure so many will only fantasize of. The first thing I heard from sharing these videos is ''that's dangerous''...of course it is. But dying alive is much better than dying in front of a TV, and when no tragedy occurs, a story to pass on for lifetimes. Really really awesome, can't believe how few views the first travel has, it should be on TV. I hope I can be free like that. Cheers.
Just last night , I was on watch while my vessel is anchored in west coast of Africa, and i was dreaming how could I ever achieve this voyage with a sailing boat. Crazy that you've actually done it.
Maks it was jaw dropping to watch this video. I was speechless watching you all guys swimming with whale shark. Truly touching emotionally. The whole adventure was full of extreme contrast like a roller-coaster man. THANK YOU. I trust you got to explore French Polynesia. I loved it there. See you in Australia
CRAZY. You are a crazy man, but in a good way. Absolut loving it. Have just seen your motorcycle trip and wanted to see if you have more adventure and then this :-). Fantastic.
What an adventure story !! You bravehearts ! Got goosebumps looking at the video first time. Your narrative is so honest and natural man! In normal days we take so many things for granted and until they become scarce we don’t value these things. Cheers for your next adventure 👍🏼
WOw, it's amazing how you all different nationality got together on this adventure. Not just adventure but a real danger crossing the pacific ocean with a lot of storms. It is really a life changing experience.
That was incredible!! 😮😬🦾🦾🦾 Thank you very much for sharing this adventure You are a very strong man, my hat is off to you So much respect for all the crew 👍👍👍 I can say w/ 100% certainty, that is something I would never attempt
Maks brilliant! This is why people should travell. One of the best documentaries I ve seen on the topic so far. Your storytelling shows a lot of natural talent. Wish u all the best. 👌
Thor Heyerdahl from the Kon Tiki, tried it once too with a similar boat made of reed. It was the RA expedition in 1972. I still remember it when I was in high school.
Tremenda aventura, mucha fuerza mental, fisica, y mucha confianza y preparacion, no todo el mundo se atreva a realizar TREMENDA TRAVECIA. Felcitaciones a toda la tripulacion.
i just enjoyed your trip across the americas, now i know where you went next, for a boat ride. that was sketchy. your captain did well to keep you on course. well done, thank you for the film. love and peace my friend;
Greats stuff, Maks. What an adventure!! A success in every way other than reaching your destination. ( A minor detail ) A belated Congratulations to you and all your crewmates.
Grand stuff! But oh my, several things I'd be concerned about being out there so remote on a pond: leaks, equipment breaking down, running out of water/food, being tipped over by a storm, getting injured/ill, to name just a few... To be fair, it seemed you were VERY lucky to have "bumped" into that cargo ship, AND that they noticed you there floating on the waves, and were willing to pick you up, this quest could've had a VERY grim ending... I dunno, I would've probably done some smaller-scale test runs first with this raft before braving the great Pacific beast, or why didn't ya'll all get off at Hao? anyways... Bless.
This is one of the most incredible journeys I've ever heard of. The whole crew was rather brave! I really enjoyed your video Maks! We're you the only one filming?
Thank you, Colin. We had a cameraman, so there are drone and prof camera shots. But those materials to be used for the expedition official documentary. Unfortunately, I don’t know how soon or late it’s gonna be made. What you see here is rather my personal video diary.
Amazing attempt! Being only 80km away after 100+ days is a feat within itself!! Are you planning another voyage applying the experiences from this one to make it better?
What amazes me, and it did you, too, it seems, is that there is so little fish to be caught out there. You'd think the ocean would be teeming with fish, so far from land without anyone to catch them. Or is this a sign of the ocean literally being fished empty? I guess being rescued by a fishing vessel could be more than a coincidence.
I think this challenge is similar to "Kon-Tiki Expedition " of Thor Hyerdahl!? After it was so!! I read his book in a childhood , and I was excited too! 😊
Many comments picking on quality of vid, it's fine. And considering the amount of searches with Google and yt search engines I'm extremely grateful you uploaded. Cheers guys. It seems 'free' living is frowned upon by those at helm of social media. Must add yt has ruined its quality by lessening brightness by 50% and covering screen with pause/10 skip options. Aholes!!

maybe because he complains a lot of food shortage 😂😂 in the whole video.
Maybe because its all fake garbage, half the of the video the boat is in the same spot over and over. Theres no way they did 100 days at sea
Fake video
I am in the shock that only 15000 people watched this video.
This was food for my adventurous mind and eyes.
Thank you.
Extremely adventurous, lucky men to experience it, will soon, watch it again completely.
Awesome scenes and your experience. This is definitely one of the greatest videos I've ever seen on RUclips.
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us Maks...the journey on the motorbike and boat is impressive, but your disposition and attitude are what really make it remarkable...calm, cool and reasonable despite the conditions. Keep it up!
I cannot quite describe all the feelings I experienced in this just one video. Truly wonderful and amazing.

You have done it, we definitely have had the ability to traverse the globe for far longer then we are told. This is clear proof of that.

Sometimes I don’t understand the RUclips algorithm. How can a Jake Paul video have 20m views and this less than 100k???
Mainly because the world is full of mentally challenged morons addicted to stupidity
