You could also just collect trout or salmon eggs from the inside river bends and glue them to your hook. Not really a fly. More of a bait. Maybe you could catch grass hoppers and superglue them to your hook for dry fly hopper. I think you’re on to something. Maybe even mayflies! So many possibilities!

Thanks for the video. Could you tell me what size hook you would prefer for a 6mm egg?
I will usually tie them on a size 8 or 10
Great idea!
Hi thanks for sharing do you sell some flies I cant buy those eggs in Ireland thanks
I typically don't sell flies but I do offer a patreon tier that has a perk where I tie a fly of your choice and send it to you! One a month!
Hi again it would be great if I could get some egg flies
Pleaae check my patreon! Id also look at online retailers
Is 6mm good for trout? ty
quick question, doesn't super glue eats up at yr plastic eggs (usually u do not use super glues with plastics)
I want the small dollop inside the egg to adhere. My flies do not last more than 2 seasons maximum, and the superglue will far outlive the fly.
What's the a good way to rig that on spinning tackle?
Just under some split shot and the right distance under a float!
lol, you put your bait on the hook bud. =D
Do you prefer the pink yolk or do you use any other colors?
sorry i watched it again and caught the comment on red and orange.
No problem! They Will tell you what they like. Different streams and times of the season change what they take!
Make an alevin out of it
