Unpopular opinion: Good for Caitlin/Bruce Jenner. But you know, it affects other people. Kris and her kids had to almost mourn a loss, like a death because she’s no longer the person they knew. They go through a grief , all the stages, denial anger and eventually acceptance. While it might be brave it hurts the people that love you most, not because they don’t want you to be who you are but because you are literally killing a part of their life some hopes and dreams I’m sure Kris imagined growing old with Bruce and that becomes part of ones identity no matter how independent you are. All I’m saying is yes people can support the person who’s transitioning but it doesn’t mean they are the only person going through a tough time. There’s not only one person and one side. After I watched the Danish girl I realised this even more, the wife was so hurt and she supported her husband but no one cared to support her and she was a wreck for a lot of it. It certainly isn’t one side and we need to be more sensitive to all those involved, everyone needs support through sth like this, no ones feelings are more important that the others.
Someone close to me has a daughter who was born male and he always said he felt tremendous loss at the time too. To me though, this highlights how rigidly gendered society still is. Not least that people feel they cannot stand to exist as one or the other, but also that choosing to live as another gender than the one you were born with makes such a profound difference that even your family cannot see you as the same person anymore. This seems crazy to me in this day and age. We still have a long way to go.
In an ideal world it would never be an “unpopular opinion” to say good for you, such as when someone chose the difficult road of freeing themselves, like Bruce. To let people live, completely without our judgment and with acceptance. Letting go, whether someone is being true to themselves or learning lessons that later may help them to be true to themselves. What you’re describing is applicable to life in general. That’s compassion, which is inclusive and for everyone, in every situation.
Transitioning affects those immediately involved besides the trans person, yes, but still the transition will always be hardest on the trans individual for more reasons than I can count. So, to say that the suffering is equal, just simply is not true. Everyone needs support in the situation, yes, but to put things into perspective, most would not commit suicide because their father transitioned to female or vice versa, but said father may very well indeed commit suicide if they're unable to transition themselves.
I feel like it’s such a complex situation. It’s the aspect that as a person, no one would want to be unhappy for their entire life. Yet I understand that trans people have molded themselves to what others expect of them for the majority of their lives. In a way they sacrificed their own happiness for others and society, at the cost of themselves. Though the irony is the cost for them to be happy, is also at a cost of what others feel or what society wants them to be. Which is such a complex dilemma. As a person there’s only so much you can sacrifice for others until you choose what you truly want over what others want for you. Even if it possibly may hurt someone else, it’s only natural to put your happiness first. Though in the future we may not have this problem.
How a family should handle this stuff? No this is a perfect representation of what a Trans SHOULDNT DO! The only person in the wrong here is Bruce and making his children keep secrets and burdens they shouldn't have no business holding onto. And ever after the fact, the transition -if you will - he showed no remorse and didn't apologize to anyone! Disgusting behavior. DO BETTER PEOPLE, BE BETTER!!!

Hard to explain but if they’re happy, more power to them.

I look at it like this.. . Bruce was a champion. He has done everything he decided to do all the way to the Olympic Gold! He has done it with determination and dedication. Why would we think Catlin would do it any different. She did it with the bravest face while the whole world chased her down and tried to discredit her as a human just because she felt different. @@andyjulia I think being around so many beautiful women made him want to be one.. Selfish. It was a very selfish decision. He not only hurt his wife but his children. They hide it well but they had to accept it because of media. How embarrassing
I don’t think trans people and or gay people would have to marry someone while in the closet, if they were accepted by society. It’s the aspect that in the future no one will have to be in the closet or have these same problems. The only reason why they married someone while being in the closet is because they were pressured by what society wanted or expected them to do. In order to stop that, it’s as simple as accepting them so they don’t have to be in the closet at all and marry people they cannot fall in love with or others who cannot fall in love with their identified gender.

Even though I don't particularly like that family or what they stand for, I know they do something for trans visibility even though Catlyn (spelling?) is someone I don't stand behind.
I still think there has to be a line drawn at kids. They shouldn't be allowed to watch anything related to it till they are 18+ then could decide what to do. There are soo many kids who grew up regretting their decision. It's sad what social media and peer pressure is doing to them. Still think It is gender dysphoria. But, I won't tell anyone what to do to their bodies. They own it.
So what happened during that call? What was happening between her 26th and 30th birthday? Did she and Kourtney lie to her mom? SO MANY DETAILS LEFT BEHIND :)))) So basically when Bruce transitioned they basically knew it.. apart from Kris..? We are not getting full story :D
In their series and other interviews they basically state they kept it from her because they thought it was the right thing to do. They didn't fully understand what was happening and I think the idea of potentially breaking up their marriage and hurting her mother without understanding what was happening was too much for them to figure out. They did the right thing tbh
Kris actually was aware of it they did keep that out the only thing kris didn’t know her kids was aware of it as well. She said Bruce at the time would put on a dress around her and she would tell him stop playing around.
@@bleepbloop644 are u commenting without watching this interview?? Kim says that she said “I’ve been feeling these feelings since I was a kid, since 4 years old”. We all feel for her. It sucks to have to hide that but she didn’t have to involve another person, lie to them about their identity, have kids with them and take up years of their (Kris’) life! Kris could have spent those years with someone else. Nobody is giving Kris any praise for dealing with this so gracefully when it wasn’t her fault at all.
I wonder why are all of you calling caitlyn "brave" becoz she didnt even plan on telling the family..He was just Caught..and I think he would still be fooling them if kim witness him that way
When you look at the household dynamic, BRUCE was actually more of the woman, and Chris was more of the man . BRUCE raised the kids, took them on carpool, did a lot of stuff with him while she was working . Looking back, it must have been so difficult for him living with these women in particular, they have so many great clothes. I bet he really had a hard time.
Omg everyone kisses the ass of women. Can we please think about how Bruce felt during this time. OBVIOUSLY he didn't want to betray his family, so he raised them, waited until they became adults and made a decision to live his life in Truth. These girls are not children, they are strong enough to handle it.

@@disharana2 I appreciate your attempt at informing a simple hater by essentially saying "google it" I did google it Disha. I mean tbh I did know about her beforehand, I was just being facetious. But I never knew the specifics. So I did google it. Her claim to fame started around a leaked sex tape and the OJ muder trial. Then a subsequent reality TV show that peddled "celebrity" culture to the sheep like masses that put them on the pedestal in the first place. If that doesn't scream degen vulture to anyone, idk what will. Imagine using someone's murder, and a private moment to gain fame and clout. Now for the actual businesses, like her fragrance line and her makeup brand. Let's ignore the absolutely fake beauty standards she sets for women and young girls. Let's ignore the hypocrisy and the photoshop. Let's ignore all of that. What's left is a simple and well-worn path that plenty of celebrity business owners established before her. She is not innovating anything. Entrepreneurs innovate and solve problems. Doesn't have to be big problems but those are the main characteristics. Peddling lipstick to young girls who are deluded into aspiring for standards of beauty that can only be achieved by spending millions of dollars on procedures and a couple of bucks more on a photoshop editor. That's not solving problems. Peddling her exaggerated personal life so vultures can enjoy drama and derive some kind of vicarious pleasure from it, is not solving problems. Mainstream celebrities, when they actually try to address problems they get shunned for "virtue signalling" but you would have us appreciate a celebrity whose platform is as overtly fake as the silicon in their bodies. She's the Rakhi Sawant of the west and you would have us appreciate her body of work, no pun intended. Actually yes pun intended. Except Rakhi Sawant didnt adapt like Kim did. The value of any commodity is however much the market would bear. Mobile phones are so expensive because people are willing to buy them at those prices. Kim Kardashian has the social capital she has because of the incessant need for drama that so many of us have. That's her "entrepreneurship" It's okay to do that, consume drama I mean, but not acknowledging it for what it is the most self-serving hypocritical stance ever. It's like saying you watch Big Boss because it "gives you insight into the human condition".

@@disharana2 Reading about her did reveal something though. I realised my problem was less with her than her followers aka you. Like I said. The market bears the cost. You're the market. Good job. The fact that you *unironically* told me to watch a reality show where the mom slips Viagra pills for her husband but the son accidentally takes them and has an erection for the entire day, as if that would give me some insight on how much of a hard worker Kim Kardashian is, says a lot.

A great role model ? I think that out there, there’s a thousand other celebrities who’re better examples. I dont hate her, because i dont know her, i was a huge fan when i was younger she was like my y2k queen … but role model ? I mean yeah its cool she saw opportunities and took them all, but there are some really dark aspects in her life. She didnt liked her body and face at all for example, even tho she was a GODDESS in the 2000s. She did all these surgeries and it literally changed her whole physiology, she even said that she was trying to look like the girls her ex boyfriend used to cheating on her with. Its so sad :/ and i feel sorry for her, but it’s unhealthy, she knows it and its not a great example. I’m not opposed to fillers or surgeries but if i’m looking for a role model or if i’m looking for one for my little sister, there’s no way ill tell her « Kim k ». The path to fully accept your body and acknowledge that you’re beautiful is ready hard and she and her family didnt help at ALL. She has the inspiring buisnesswoman side, but she doesnt have the im confident and i love myself part which is something ESSENTIAL when you’re looking for a role model

I didn't know who she was, he should have introduced her.
Just some trashy bint, nothing to see here.
Bro that’s literally Kim Kardashian 🤦♂️
Great, so now we don’t have to worry about “that one guy” your welcome
I didn't know either
Why you have to be so mean to her?
you know exactly who it is shut up 🙄
HA HA this is funny, I had no idea who it was before I read the discription
Kim is looking beautiful... That make up n dress n color of it is ON POINT
They own it.
i will always love kim.
@@velcro-is-a-rip-off Ah Ok thank you! Somehow i missed it. Yeah.. it is very hard and strange situation for kids to be in. Thank you!
Kris actually was aware of it they did keep that out the only thing kris didn’t know her kids was aware of it as well. She said Bruce at the time would put on a dress around her and she would tell him stop playing around.
Alright poor Bruce but what about Kris???? Who was lied to for 22 years????? What’d she do to deserve that
caitlyn didn’t know she was trans, kris wasn’t lied to. and PLEASE don’t use her deadname, it’s disrespectful.
@@bleepbloop644 I used Bruce bcz Kim herself in this episode used Bruce otherwise I usually use Caitlin.
Was kanye on his phone the whole time??n
He turned the interview into something Kim didn’t want
Yes!! The way he asked about her SAVING LIVES WITH TRUMP and how he pushed her bout OJ and Caityln/Bruce. Kim handled it beautifully.
I just love kim♥️
I wonder why are all of you calling caitlyn "brave" becoz she didnt even plan on telling the family..He was just Caught..and I think he would still be fooling them if kim witness him that way
Kris knew…..come onnnn….
She is so beautiful!
Honesty level %1000😂
Is it just me or she actually looks weirdly different in this video?🤔
Just the way she does her makeup routine.
@@wmmv2019 hi there fellow ARMY💜🙋🏻♀️

Her nose ( left side ) looks awkward no ?
@Mercy Grace Jawino i looked at her face for a long time & realised that everything looks overdrawn😂
¿Por qué este episodio no está en Netflix México?
Omg everyone kisses the ass of women. Can we please think about how Bruce felt during this time. OBVIOUSLY he didn't want to betray his family, so he raised them, waited until they became adults and made a decision to live his life in Truth. These girls are not children, they are strong enough to handle it.
She explain diferent same history and she tell somewhere the family do alot crazy things!
Who is the homeless man she is interviewing?
No a homeless man he use to be a late night host his name is David Letterman didn't always look like this lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is this supposed to be funny?
my dude have some respect...he's a legend.
@VASTFLYER 232•••••••• then you know exactly how poor your sense of humour is or maybe you just don't know (yet) the vastness of letterman's genius.
Kris knew! He was going through change when they met!!!!! She knew!
Oh my god she almost looks like Madeleine Mantock, the British actress?!
Բարի Սիրելի Քիմ Քարդաշյանի ջան ❤
I wonder why Kourtney thought Bruce/Caitlin was cheating instantly…
I was thinking the same!!!
He kept interrupting her in the interview
Netflix can you please put more episodes for iunyasha 🙏
She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe
Most of this comment section is just women saying she's beautiful inside and out.
where can i find the full interview
What’s it’s called on Netflix
Who is she?
Someone who got famous for her sex tape 🤣😂🤣😂 not worth your time. You're saving braincells not knowing
Kim is the most talented Kardashian who agrees?
tALenT okay lol
I'm here for the comments
I would love to see Drew Barrymore
I am sorry but was that Kanye in a sweater tapping on his phone. His wife is literally on stage and he can't even be supportive for just a day.
whatever ,they always knew
I actually think she's pretty cool. Gay dude here.

💌☕ definitely
Ok Kim is pretty dope
Wow Kim.
No thanks.
Okay.
Oh I'm watching this
Actually please, introduce her
Let me figure out once and for all what she actually does.
Please watch her show or rather read and you will be aware of all the businesses she handles, the causes she supports, the law studies she’s doing, the efforts she’s putting in by utilising her fame. All of you commenting hate on her is based on her Instagram posts. See more than that to know she’s actually a hard working individual.
@@disharana2 I appreciate your attempt at informing a simple hater by essentially saying "google it"
I did google it Disha.
That's her "entrepreneurship"
It's okay to do that, consume drama I mean, but not acknowledging it for what it is the most self-serving hypocritical stance ever. It's like saying you watch Big Boss because it "gives you insight into the human condition".
@@disharana2 exploiting the murder trial and several other seconds of fame to start a tv show that lasted like 15 years (I'm sure you think that's an achievement) to jumpstart your business is the most cringe shit ever, basic human decency aside
@@disharana2 yea okay I did some reading. I'm even less impressed. Thanks for the recommendation.
But I do wish you'd warned me about the brain cells I would lose reading this stuff.
They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing but I think i just found an exception to that adage.
Madonna should come to the show!!
What is it called
She came out when she did to distract from her killing someone in a car accident, and it worked, she never paid for that...
miss kim jenner
Kim who ?
why are the comments so mean
I see her tears in her face cos of her own kids .
26
she said 22 the other video .
Who is the tall cjick that taught yoga classes in Los Angeles California for over 35 years and had no health insurance And never had a college or university education
Bro everyone is sitting so packed there not scared too get covid19
the kardashians are trump supporters so..
It was filmed a long time ago.
Sorry who is Bruce? I don't know much about Kardashians
Her stepfather. Bruce Jenner.
Caitlyn really insulted Kardashian family and also their mom, Kris. But Kim is really mature in this video and the way she respects Caitlyn is admirable 😳
Is that for real Letterman?
I think KIM is such a great role model for every Gal out there, of course haters will disagree but she is someone we follow if we want to learn how to contour or in times of fashion statement ideas.....these are the people that need to be the next leaders and make the world liveable for the younger generation who are REALLY REALLY confused
@@Brothisisprivate see u said it all.....she represents every gal, every women out there, making the same mistakes and she owned up to it
