Started watching your videos, I think they are a very pleasant watch. I was thinking about the reasoning of banning common perks rather than epics. My initial thought is that it would still make more sense to ban epics, but I haven't convinced myself 100% yet. The arguement to be made is: Lets say the determination of a perk being offered is first decided on a variable probability matching the rarity of the perk, and thereafter all perks within that rarity has an even distribution. Then you would keep the epic pool of perks consistently large since some of these perks are detrimental to the run and cannot be taken. This all means that the odds of getting the coin tradeoff perk (and -dmg trade off, not as important though) early on drastically decreases. The counter arguement would however be that since you empty the pool of commons faster, you get to see more epic perks, which brings me to the indecisive conclusion. I have only once (maybe twice) seen the coin tradeoff perk show up super late (w1500/2000+, I also have 4 bans), so I feel like the epic ban strategy is decent, but unsure of the optimality compared to your strategy. My "fear scenario" chosing your bans would be to get 4 epic choices at one point: +RangedDmg, Cash/wave, -lifestal/regen, -knockback (since I transition into blender at the end to get more waves), where I would avoid all those 4. I'm curious to know your thoughts on this.
And one additional comment not regarding the above message: Move DW above the 3 common defensive perks. It follows the same logic as above, that getting it "out of the way" gives you a higher chance to see the 3 defensive perks while also taking DW +quant sooner since it improves Econ/cells.
The way I understand it is that during your run each perk slot has two rolls. The first roll is to determine the quality of the perk: common, rare, epic. The next roll for that slot is to determine which of those cards within that rarity will be chosen. Since perk wave reduction (PWR) is by far the best perk, it is technically best to remove unnecessary common perks to try and force the PWR out early. I’m fairly certain that trying to eliminate epic perks first would take longer than just going straight for pwr using common bans. So I think if you are manually choosing perks, banning commons is most beneficial, but if using auto perks, the round ending epics will need to be banned. (This is currently what I’m doing)
Good video bro, I was wondering why I hadn’t seen anything from you, keep up the good work, I saw Jplays showed your channel on his Orb Devo video if I’m not mistaken, looking forward to your channel growing
Thanks! I think you should save up your power stones and just bring your GT cooldown to 200s to match BH. It could be faster than waiting for getting MVN depending on RNG.

Agreed! I have made this adjustment.
