- So... what's going on? Well, a couple of things actually, but mostly some medical stuff. In this video I'll explain some things on what's been going on for me and what's going to happen next.

Hope all goes well Seb, hope those doctors will work their wonders! Very brave of you to share. The way you deal with the eye problems is awe inspiring. Your resilience and positive attitude is an example for me. Kudos!
Real life is what it is all about and RUclips and gaming can be a good distraction and quite often it takes precedence. Don't you worry if you have other priorities for a bit. We'll still be here!
Thanks Mark, those doctors better be looking forward to a nice challenge. I'll do my part, I'm a pro sleeper, so they can't blame me :D.I'm not afraid to prioritize, but it does seem fair to share when you do. It's so great to see so many caring people on here though!

Watching and hear you talk about your struggle has brought me to wanna learn about your transplants and the whole procedure.. Further expanding my mind.. Thank you for helping give me the drive to learn more about such things in life if that make sense.. I truly hope that they get you a good transplant.. And get you back into your passions with life.. Hearing you speak has also given me less to bitch about in my life.. And has shown me the struggles others who deserve better stay positive through there journey in life.
Great to hear it can spark some curiosity on the topic, thanks! The struggle is rather relative, getting kind of used to the ups and downs with these eyes of mine ;). They're doing good now though. Will put out an update video soon, as it's long overdue. I'll also be sure to make a more in depth video about my vision, as that seems to interest a lot of people and that's good to find out (usually people don't dare ask for some reason).
Anyway, life is too good to stay down for long, it has too many great things to enjoy that a few set backs are more than worth the experiences the full ride has to offer ;).
Sorry to hear about your recent vision troubles! I hope the operation goes well and I wish you a speedy and satisfactory recovery! Take all the time you need, I'll look forward to new videos when you can make them but your health definitely comes first!

Can you just imagine seeing all those needles heading towards you eye? Pffff, so glad they've got some great anaesthetics to help with that... and the pain! Should be easy as pie, I'm a pro sleeper :DDo let me know what you think of the other channel, once you've checked it out!
Not sure how I missed this, but I hope your operation went well. I also understand the focus to other things that both interest you more at the moment, and what caters better to your eye condition.

Re: your future plans, yes, your reviews are very good, I really like it when you take the time to make a special video but I personally hope you won't abandon Let's Playing entirely. Why have one or the other when you can have both? :D
Quick update from me: made 2 new videos so far for 2014 with more on the way next week, a particular project that's been delayed on countless occasions will *finally* see the light of day! Quite possibly, there might even be another one commencing this month as well but we shall see how that goes. :)
In RL: considering career options, thinking about going to college/Uni, looking specifically into something medical (NHS), though undecided on exactly what. I think you (and anyone else who's might've read this) are the first on RUclips to know that, actually. :)
In gaming: been on a real 360 kick of late for the first time since getting the PS3 in October/November 2012 (my God, time really flies!!!) and Skyrim has been my game of choice, literally just got the last achievement I had left to unlock an hour or so ago (the Legendary Dragon one) having played The Dragonborn DLC last week. :)
*Really* looking forward to Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (FINALLY get to play that!!!) and Yoshi's New Island, in particular for this year. What games are you looking forward to this year? :)
Miscellaneous thoughts: I don't think you have enough PS1 games on your shelf :P, the use of Aquatic Ambiance would've got you a thumbs up alone and now we know who *really* runs the show here on your channel (your cat (don't know his/her name lol)). :D

Thanks a lot and yeah, that picture was great. Was hilarious when he did it on his own all of a sudden during recording. Luckily he felt like taking a pose like it afterwards, though he was way more into it the first time as the view finder had more activity on it then haha.

Seriously good luck with everything man, I know how you feel my right eye has gotten worse 2200/20, and I also see better in lower light as my eyes are not stressed as much. Also no worries on the videos, we will be here when ever u do post a video. :-)
Thanks a lot man! Sorry to hear that your eye isn't doing too well either. Not sure what my visual acuity is in there right now, but even spotting fingers being waved around right in front of me is near impossible lol. In my left eye I'm at a fairly stable 20/400, which is where my right eye came from.

I wish you the best of luck with the surgery tomorrow. :) Honestly, I've actually kind of forgot about you, but it's nice to see another video. Also, just wondering, do you ever really have trouble reading subtitles on things like foreign films, etc.?
Thanks man and no worries at all hah, it's hard to keep track of everyone you're subscribed too!Subtitles can be a bit problematic for me. I need to be pretty close to even read them for one and I can usually BARELY read them before they go away. Concentrating on them also means I'll miss whatever else is on the screen. So I tend to go for English/Dutch audio where possible or opt to pause a movie all the time to 'catch up'. A rather annoying way of seeing a movie honestly!As a child my vision was actually a bit worse and I could not keep up with subs, so I learned to understand English and German on a fairly early age just from watching TV lol. Kind of forgot most of the German though.
I've been following you for years. First RUclips comment ever! I hope you have success in the operation. Rooting for you. Update when you can.

I'm a nearsighted gamer, interested in doing some LPs of Genesis games. I'm looking into gear and capture cards at the moment but I hope the operations go well or have gone well since I've enjoyed your Blood Omen and other Let's Play videos.

What causes your eye to move alot . ? . Hope you don't mind me asking . I also suffer with a tremor . Which can be a pain when gaming . But it is easily controled . I used to have glasses as well, really thick ones at that hah, until I got lens implants. Not as good as with the glasses, but still a lot better than without and a relief overall. Glasses no longer work now though, apart from reading.
My eyes move that much because of uncontrollable muscle movements. Kind of like tremors, but it's totally unconscious. For me the view is stable, just not as clear as it could be. Kind of like having a lower refresh rate and some frame blending going on I guess. Anyway, those involuntary movements of the eyes is a condition called nystagmus.
No problem asking about this stuff by the way. If you don't ask, you can't learn and I'm not so sensitive to shy away from being honest. I wish more people would just ask, to satisfy their curiosity, instead of just assume things for themselves.

I've found that Fraps is not always idea for recording gameplay on PC. It tends to slow down a lot of things and doesn't work with everything. An alternative, and in my opinion MUCH better program, is Open Broadcaster Software. Not only is it extremely versatile on how you capture (or stream, its original, main purpose), it's also completely free. Amazing stuff honestly and I've yet to find a game that does not work with it, though sometimes you do need to fiddle about with it to make it work right. Anyway, check it out and see how it works, you can find it over at: obsproject.com/

You need to get some more PS1 games, as it's apparent you're clearly lacking on that console.
