- Ingredients
biscuit base
250g butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
30ml oil
2 teaspoons vanilla essence/extract
2 cups Cake flour
2 cups Selfraising flour
filling
10 eggs
1/2 cup sugar/125ml
1 litre milk
30ml custard powder/2 Tablespoons
15ml Cake flour/1 Tablespoon
5 ml sugar
10ml vanilla essence
stick cinnamon
cardamom pods
60ml butter
bake in preheated oven/first 20-30 minutes bottom heat only.
160 degrees Celsius
for 1hour if using deep dish but if using regular pyrex or smaller dish adjust cooking times to 35-40 minutes.

Aslm after the first 20 minutes should the oven settings change or should it continue baking it for 1 hour
After first 20 minimum on bottom rack at 160 degrees then move to middle shelf for the remainder or until it sets usually wil look like it's bubbling underneath if that makes sense,there will be a slight jiggle but will set upon standing,also remember mine bake for an hour because I used a deep dish if using a larger dish should take about 35-40 minutes
