      @Mario Lopez what's not affordable about the Jag? Acura has been having some issues with reliability for a few years now. I buy based on what I like. The Jag had a great exterior but lacked in interior style and quality.

      @Mario Lopez there have been plenty of car companies that have went through what jaguar is as far as losing money. I have a daily driver and the Jag wouldn't be it. My Honda gave me quite a few problems but my Hyundai didnt. My Acura has been great but others weren't as lucky. Transmission issues and a few other issues have plagued Acura for sometime even big brother Honda had issues. 45 thousand isn't bad for the XE I looked with the options I wanted. Not far from what my Acura cost. Do you have a vid of your type R? I always liked them.

    I always loved the design of the XE and the subtle changes front and back are welcome. The interior is now also a bit nicer with that stupid gear dial gone. And it's priced not too badly either. The only thing that kept me from getting one last year was reliability. Having been bitten by LR in the past, hard, it's just not worth the risk for me. Beautiful car though.

    Thanks André for an excellent review. This vehicle is one of the top and direct BMW 3-Series competitor and undercuts in terms of price. Most important of all is long term reliability, quality and durability. If Jaguar has these critical factors covered on this new vehicle, then it will be a winner!

    I own the Alfa Romeo Giulia and think it's brilliant but my second choice would be the XE. Very pretty vehicle and handles well for a sedan. Entry level BMW is certainly not the definitive car for this segment as I think the Giulia , dynamically and stylistically, is in a class of its own. The Jag comes close with style and it's sharp handling.

    • @apostolostvable

      Lmao. They already face lifted the car multiple times. Jaguar simply is just not a popular brand in modern times and the bad reliability stigma has held on for a long time that people refuse to buy jaguars. Design is decent. BMWs and other German cars look bland compared to Jags tbh. Especially, if you compare them with XE SV project 8 and F type.

    • @bigmacdaddy1234
      @bigmacdaddy1234 Год назад

      @@RelentlesslV Jaguar is still a famous brand, but the EV market killed them because all the EV cars now offer all the bells & whistles for half the price. Jaguars interiors are bland, their exteriors are bland, and there is just no justifiable reason to pay double or triple to price when a KIA EV or Genesis EV will do it better. I love the old Jaguars but the new EV Jags are a flop.

    • @RelentlesslV
      @RelentlesslV Год назад

      @@bigmacdaddy1234 a lot of us saw older jags. They look worse than the new. The older ones look like old man’s cars for 60-70year olds. I guess if you’re stuck in the past, then the older jaguars must be your favorite. The newer jags like even the F type and XE look more sporty, elegant, and modern. These cars make even German cars like BMW, MB, and Audi look bland. If jags are bland, I guess BMW and other German cars are even more super generic and bland looking like Hondas, ford, and Toyota. But, sure. I guess they can improve their designs more to boost up sales. It doesn’t matter anymore since both those models are discontinued. Also, Jaguar is simply not a popular brand and doesn’t have the brand image compared to the German counterparts. Jaguar has always been a niche brand and looked as an alternative to the BMWs, Audis, etc. In addition, most of us younger folks in their 20s and even 30s like Gen Z/Millennial grew up not knowing about Jaguars tbh. So, that’s why most sales gravitate towards other brands. Reliability has always been an issue as well. Reliability is almost the same as BMW, Audi, and other European counterparts. But, most people still think they are unreliable pieces of junk. I guess some boomers here are just stuck in the past. Oh well. To each their own. 🤷‍♂️
