Great product recommendations! I absolutely love the Bioderma micellar water for taking off makeup, it works so well and its so easy to use compared to cleansing balms which can get messy sometimes!
Hi Amy, thank you so much! ❤ So happy to hear you love the micellar water as well, now after using it, I understand why it is highly recommended 💯 Happy weekend to you 😘
So nice to see You; so great, that You were able to support Your skin healing after the holidays; and so great, Your nice thoughts for Your mother and Christmas. Now I wish You a wonderful week 😍🤗💐
Thank you so much, Marcel! Yes it feels like Christmas will be arriving very soon, not long to go so I'm trying to prepare in advance this year 😉 Wishing you a lovely week as well ❤
I was a lifelong sceptic of all those overpriced spring water facial mists. A few trips to Japan soon made me see the light; every time I return to the UK from Japan my skin is in shockingly good condition. My entire body feels so much smoother and softer too. Their tap water is TOTALLY different to what I get where I live in England. I'm convinced it makes a huge difference to have all the unpleasant limescale and so forth removed from the water I use, to enjoy pure, filtered SOFT water instead of hard water. I finish my cleansing routine with a good spray of the Avene water too, before following with my retinal night serum or whatever. I'm converted. Nothing beats actually living, washing and eating in Japan but trying to fight bad UK water is the best I can do to prolong healthy skin post-holiday.
Loved this video ❤ I used to use Channel Le lift range eye cream for years, and get a mini facial for free at DJ. I loved it. I’m also fan of La Roche posey facial wash too.
Hi Ellie, thank you and great to hear about your love for the Le lift range eye cream by Chanel! Oooh I might try to get one when I'm back in Sydney soon, thank you for sharing ❤
@@LaurenGraceHarding they recommended for dark circle at the time, Channel beauty is so nostalgic for me as I used to use it in my late teens to mid 20s, their blue hydra range, it must have changed now🙂
Hi Ellie, I remember the blue Hydra range! I never tried it though.... today I went to Galleries Lafayette near Opera to purchase a refill of the Sublimage - I didn't notice the blue Hydra range as I was at the beauty/skincare counter though 😢 There was sublimage, le lift and their new no. 1 range
@@LaurenGraceHarding great to hear that you got refill. I’m going to try the sublimage eyecream, I used to get samples for their foundation whenever I shopped at DJ , it’s lux, have a wonderful week❤️
Hi Lauren-so glad you found products that are working for you and that also give you a luxurious experience! It sounds like we may have similar skin as I use many of the same products you do. So I wanted to suggest a couple things you may want to try. For cleanser, LaRoche Posay makes Toleriane Gentle Hydrating Cleanser that I love - it’s creamy like the Avene you currently use and it’s unscented. For shower I use LaRoche Posay Lipikar Body & Face wash and the use the Lipikar body moisturizer - both are unscented and work well even in the super dry climate where I live. They are quite reasonably priced (in US they’re cheaper than Avene) so you might want to check into them. 😊
Hi there, thank you so so much for sharing these suggestions, that's super helpful especially if we have similar skin types 🙏 I'll head over to the La Roche Posay website to read about the Toleriane Gentle Hydrating Cleanser and the Lipikar gel and moisturizer 😍 That's great these are actually cheaper than Avene in the US a well! Much appreciated and hope you have a lovely new week ahead 😘
Hey Lauren great video on skin care and how to take care of self. Looks like pharmacy is the best gold for ensuring your skin is up to date and good. Also as for allergies I say take the allergy test you never know about what you might be allergic or not. Man summer flew by it’s insane
@@LaurenGraceHarding indeed yesterday which I posted in ig o went to Atlantic City on the last day when my state’s transit offered free rides on the week for all buses. Boy it was nice to get the ride and spend some beach time and boardwalk. Trust me a jersey shore experience (not that crap show) you should experience.
A few things I already use and a few you have tempted me with. Quick question does the almond shower oil leave an oily coating in the shower? Look forward to your next video x
Hi Beverley, that's lovely to hear! I used it for the first time last night and can happily confirm is didn't leave an oily coating in the shower, at least none that I noticed.... wishing you a lovely new week ahead 😘
Hi Lauren, Thank you for another great video! I use many LaRoche Posay products and the Bioderma. I want to try the Avene clay mask. Unrelated to the video, I notice that you always have such a lovely shade of pale pink nail varnish. It is so had to find a nice pale pink that is not sheer or too beige. Would you mind sharing what color/brand nail varnish you use?Thank you :)
Hi Patricia, happy new week to you! Thank you and appreciate you sharing which brands you use as well 😍 I hope you like the Avene clay mask, I'm looking forward to using it now as part of my regular routine ❤ The nail polish is by OPI and it's called "What's the double scoop" in a pink semi-permanent gel, I'm not sure if they have this exact shade in the regular type of nail polish. If not, a similar colour I used to get is "Mod about you" by OPI, in a light pink which is slightly more opaque, that one is available in just the regular type of polish and gel as well 😘
@@LaurenGraceHarding Happy new week to you as well!! Thank you for the polish recommendations. I will stop at the store tomorrow to see if they have either in stock. I currently have 4 OPI and 2 Essie that are pretty but did not hit the mark! Thank you again!! :)
Hope you had some luck Patricia with finding the polish! Some polishes look great in the jar however they come out really light when painting on the nails. I remember I had "Passion" by OPI but even with three coats I couldn't obtain the same colour 😂 Both OPI and Essie have lovely ranges in terms of colours!
It could be because of sunscreen. They could easily block your pores and provoke break out. They can be hard to clean out from your face especially if they are water resistant.
Hi Lauren, i am a big fan of a clean and natural skincare, i am doing a bit of research in a hollistic approach towards wellbeing and health trying to switch from pharmaceutical products and focusing on herbs, fasting and generally detoxing my body from toxins.I have discovered benefits using a castor oil mixed with other oils and the results are good. Rosemary oil can be so beneficial for hair promoting hair growth and great for scalp. I really like L'occitane brand too. Regards.:)
Hi Anna, happy Monday! 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing your approach and what's been working for you, this is very helpful 🙏 I've heard of castor oil and also rosemary oil for hair, would love to try that out in particular 💯 I'm also concentrating on increasing water intake and trying to eat healthier too... I may need a big detox 😉 So happy to hear your ❤ L'Occitane as well, they have beautiful products 😍
I've been using their products for about 2 years (and yes I am a man ☺), initially for skin repair and now for regurlar skincare with excellent reults. You should try them if you get the opportunity...
I love that you're using them and are open about it 💯 Are there any particular ones you would like to suggest? I'm always worried about trying new products and brands out
It all depends on several things, skin type, skin issues, etc... They have moisturizers and cleansers but they are not the products I use, I actually use La Roche Posay Effaclar. Their strong products are their serums: Niacinamide and zinc, Abscorbyl glucoside, Peptide and hyaluronic acid with B12, Granative retinoid and many more. I invite you to visit their website and get additional information based on your specific needs and then let me know what you would like to try, if I know about it I will give you my opinion.
