    Once again I must pin a comment with a workshop item I forgot to mention - I used Liam's awesome shingle walls for the roof of the Snack Shack. Link in the description with the other workshop bits.

    I’ve seen so many great builders on YT, but esthetic wise you’re the best. The detail yet simplicity, the color schemes. It’s not over the top and feels like a waterpark Ive been in the 90’s with my family at a camping.

  • @Geekism
    @Geekism 2 месяца назад +27

    Vibes. The attention to detail around the water fountains is what I'm here for. I feel like the food is WAY too cheap for somewhere like this that would be basically operating on the profit from overpriced Hot Dogs.
    I'm surprised the name Wet n' Wild didn't just come from the rather prominent company of waterparks in the US through the 90s and 00s. Orlando had a Wet N' Wild, as did Vegas, a few in Texas. There's one still in Toronto... I just assumed it was from that. I suppose it isn't the most original name, so it shouldn't come as a shock that it's used elsewhere in the world for similar endeavors

    • @mineraljunction
      @mineraljunction  2 месяца назад +1

      @@Geekism actually, Steve’s family fortune allows him to charge reasonable prices for hotdogs. He’s a man of the people. And yeah nah haha never heard of them 😂 I just thought oh that thing my friend takes his kid to has a fun name, I’ll use that.

      Wet n wild in Australia is attached to sea world, and warner bros. Movie world, so it is highly like to be from the same US franchise originally.

    • @tomwijgers
      @tomwijgers 2 месяца назад

      @@simonglover8914 Wet'n'Wild was created by Village Roadshow, an Australian company, which also owns Sea World (in Australia). They have parks in a few countries, including America. America also has Wet 'n Wild, which was made by the same owners as Sea World (in the US). But Wet'n'Wild is not related to Wet 'n Wild, and Sea World is not related to Sea World. There is also a Wet 'n' Wild and a Wet N Wild. Not confusing in the slightest...

    14:20 Take this with a grain of salt as I've not had time to open PC2 and try myself yet, but from watching other peoples' playthroughs, it seems feasible to have a standard path leading right up to the flume and then just an entrance gate onto the platform. So in theory you could have the staircase exactly how you want it. Maybe worth a quick browse at how others have achieved it? Loving the playthrough!
    Also sorry to burst your bubble even further but there's a Wet n Wild in Orlando too :D

    • @mineraljunction

      yeah, I had thought about this already, and others have suggested it, but I'm stupidly picky about the standard elevated path having a hulking great concrete spine on it.
