To set filter DPS setpoint, AHU catalogue shall be consulted where differential pressure value for dirty status of filter is mentioned. For VFD control a static pressure sensor shall be installed on 2/3 length of the supply duct. Hope I answered your question.
A DPT is installed between main supply pipe and main return pipe of chilled water system. Water balancing team shall provide the Differential Pressure (DP) setpoint at this location. Pump VFD speed is then controlled to achieve this setpoint. Location of DPT installation can be inside pump room or on the farthest pipe line inside the system.
So in case if anyone of these sensor malfunction or found to be faulty? Will it affect the over energy consumption of that building? How will affect the overall operation and energy consumption?
It depends on which sensor we are talking about for example if supply air temp sensor of FAHU is faulty and giving wrong reading, it will disturb the control logic and will result in poor temperature control which can have effect on energy consumption... Similar will be the case of static duct pressure sensor controlling the speed of AHU fans and so on

Differential pressure value or deltaP is measured by subtracting one value of static pressure sensor from another static pressure sensor. Example, in pumps a dP sensor may be installed between a suction strainer, when the dP is very high that means the strainer is dirty and needs cleaned. In AHU a dP sensor can detect when the air filter is dirty and need cleaned.
I couldn't get your problem completey. Did you check the digital command signal from the BMS? Try making jumper on the VFD command terminals. Is it fine in Manual mode without this issue?
You will find the manual from internet. To give start command give jumper from terminal 10 to terminal 13. Also make sure that terminal 10 to 16 is already jumped as it is safety interlock and it must be closed to allow VFD to run. As your VFD is running in Manual so I think this will be fine.. Try jump from 10 to 13 while VFD is in Auto.
Run and Trip status signals are taken from the MCC panel. Run status signal is provided by auxiliary contacts of contactor, when contactor is latched we get the run status. While trip status is provided by the overload relay. Hope you get the answer.

I Have a problem, I can't understand how the Emergency of switch for industrial steam system works with BMS : the customer asked to Emergency of switch To be situated adjacent the boiler room with warning horn, and is to be integrated in the boiler control system and BMS. including all necessary cabling. if you can help me, I don't understand how the emergency switch for industrial steam system works: 1- if you press the emergency switch, it will stop the boiler and it is the boiler that communicates with the BMS. 2- if the emergency switch is pressed, it will communicate with the BMS and it is the BMS which stops the boiler. 3- if you press the emergency switch, it stops the boiler and the emergency switch sends its status to the BMS. pls send me a reference of the emergency switch to buy it

What is the difference between flow meter and flow switch?
A flow switch only gives indication of flow by closing the contact when flow is present while flow meter gives actual value of the flow at a moment.
