If you're watching this and you've gone through the instructions and your remote is still not working or not working as it should, like mine, try this: Instead of pressing the power button after the TV/MAGIC/991 process, press CH- Keep pressing it until your TV goes to standby, go slowly though as this will allow you to press the MAGIC button. You will need to turn the TV back on manually using the TV's button. Check your remote is working by pressing the menu button, if the TV's menu comes up correctly, try the volume buttons, if everything is working fine, great. If not, repeat this process. I had to do this 6 or 7 times, but in the end I now have a fully working remote!

Sound like a stupid question but not really. My Bush TV doesn't have a button. Without a remote I literally can't turn it off standby. Is there no way to do this procedure with the TV on standby ?

I've just followed all the procedures for a Bush tv. And it all went according to your instructions up until the point the tv went on standby. Now the t.v has remained on standby and the remote won't turn it back on? The t.v came on automatically before attempting the procedure and now it won't come on at all? Tried turning it off and on at the wall, putting an Xbox through it to see if that will somehow activate it from standby, but nothing? Any support would be welcome, thank you.

If you're watching this and you've gone through the instructions and your remote is still not working or not working as it should, like mine, try this: Instead of pressing the power button after the TV/MAGIC/991 process, press CH- Keep pressing it until your TV goes to standby, go slowly though as this will allow you to press the MAGIC button. You will need to turn the TV back on manually using the TV's button. Check your remote is working by pressing the menu button, if the TV's menu comes up correctly, try the volume buttons, if everything is working fine, great. If not, repeat this process. I had to do this 6 or 7 times, but in the end I now have a fully working remote!

I've just followed all the procedures for a Bush tv. And it all went according to your instructions up until the point the tv went on standby. Now the t.v has remained on standby and the remote won't turn it back on? The t.v came on automatically before attempting the procedure and now it won't come on at all? Tried turning it off and on at the wall, putting an Xbox through it to see if that will somehow activate it from standby, but nothing? Any support would be welcome, thank you.

Whats a magic button?
Dear Conor,
The Magic button is necessary to program the remote, like the set-up code or if there are some missing functions to use KeyMagic. So each time you want to program something you need to press the Magic button. On some of the remotes is called the Magic button and on other One For All remotes Set-up.
