Well it is Allegro moderato so ofc it wouldn't be too fast and a bit more lascivous. Still, I recommend not judging fast tempo too harshly. It may be harder to interpret but it too has its perks. Try Sicilienne and Rigaudon by Kreitzler
Finally, a 21st century recording that is not tainted by all those bullshit "historically informed" versions. This is so right. No rush. No twisted pitches. Just pure joy of harmony and counterpoint. Bravo, Daniel! Bravi tutti, orchestra!

9.June 2023 at Lotte concert hall in Seoul I was deeply impressed by Daniel's performance. The main of the concert, Saint-Saëns No. 3, was also very good, but the two encore songs were also like jewels. The first encore song is Ysaye Sonata No. 3. The second was Tchaikovsky's emotional waltz His Ysaye sonata no.3 was perfect. His playing is getting more and more mature. I look forward to more of his future performances. His popularity at the concert hall that day was great.

The first time I watched Daniel performing "Tchaikovsky: Six Romances, Op. 6" , I felt my emotions raising so deeply inside me... tears.
