A few good players that deserve mention in my opinion:
Merton Hanks: Tim McDonald who they mention was good in San Francisco, but when I watch clips of the 90’s Niners on defense, I don’t see it thrown to Hanks’ side of the field very much. Made four all pro teams in the mid 90’s.
Marques Colston: One of the best skill position players in recent decades to not make a pro bowl.
Diron Talbert: According to unofficial sack stats, he has more sacks in his best eight seasons combined than Merlin Olsen and almost as many as Bob Lilly in his eight best seasons.
Fred Dryer: Became an actor after playing of course, but also was a pretty good pass rusher. Had 103 sacks unofficially for the Giants and Rams, including 15 in a second team all pro season in 1974.
Keith Lincoln and Paul Lowe: One of the great backfield tandems of the 1960’s. In particular on the AFL side.

I think people really underrate Joe Theismann. We talk/laugh about guys who don't want to run a route as a QB like Jay Cutler, or dunk on a guy like Richardson for taking a play off. Joe came into the league, there was no path for him to be the franchise QB. So what'd he do? I'm frustrated, get me out on special teams. I'll practice punting and be the emergency punter. Let me run a couple routes. It's a run play, I'll throw a block I'm a part of this unit too. This cat wanted to play ball. There are players you could question their motivation or toughness or commitment to their team but its hard to argue against that dude. I think that got lost in a bit of his legacy due to the dudes mouth and the whole leg thing.

Best way to start off the show with Jeremy Shockey!!!! That first preseason game he played let the league know that the NY Giants got a keeper😌😌😌

"These players aren't your hall of famers"
*intro then shows (I believe) london fletcher, whom should definitely wind up in Canton*
Also, karl mecklenberg should be in the HOF

Unfortunately it gets harder and harder to get into the Hall of Fame as your time post retirement goes by; only a couple senior inductees each year compared to 5-6 newer ones

Greg Jennings deserves a HOF slot simply for his Madden video game meme

Michael Turner was indeed a force to be reckoned with during his NFL career. Known as "The Burner," Turner played for the Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers. His powerful running style and ability to break tackles made him a key player for his teams. Did y’all know he had an impressive career rushing average of 4.5 yards per carry!🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈

    Couple other things:
Michael “Burner” Turner went to HS at one of our rival HS’s
    Charles Tillman deserves a look

I mentioned elsewhere, Stephen Davis had 4 1300+ yard seasons I believe as a RB for 2 different clubs yet didnt hit 10k unfortunately for him.
