A lot of the issues we already knew about and are just pro-active about it. If they were issues we didn't know about it would not have been possible to amend quickly without delays in production!
I deeply appreciate NOSFET 's efforts in connecting with its consumer community. I've never seen this with any of the others. Even if you share something that disappoints me, at least you are talking and connecting. Please don't stop this behavior.

My question is regarding the bead of sealant applied to the top of the battery boxes where they are mounted to the frame and where the battery cables emerge. That honestly seems a little crude and will be a nuisance when changing tires or other maintenance work. Are there plans for a silicone gaskets there on production units?
Good question and good eye! I see you've watched our tutorial videos! The videos were done with a preproduction model, which required more glue. The production units used a better gasket to help with waterproofing.
I am very happy with these exchanges and improvements heard. I look forward to receiving my Apex. The problem, probably only aesthetic, is the lengths of the pedal screws. I suggest you find screws that go through the entire battery pack. There will probably be four shorter screws for the upper attachment of the pedal clips, and four longer screws for the lower part of the clips. This makes maintenance more complicated for people (memory of screw placement) but visually makes the design more thoughtful and successful. Good luck to you
Yeah, I think he’s a fantastic thing that you are always listening to the riders, but my big concern is if the nosfet he’s already a machine to go extreme off-road or it’s just a day ride machine, me as a big guy must have a good suspension, I live in Germany and I don’t ride in the roads just most of the time of offroad , that’s why I was so happy with this machine, but seeing the videos and the issues and the problem with the suspension and now with this video seeing that is not so easy to use other suspensions, I have to think about it Let’s see what happening in the next weeks with the upcoming updates for you guys. You might be one of the small few riders who are riding in Germany since the laws are quite strict! You can definitely daily ride the APEX and on your way home from work take it offroad in the highest position! :D

I was wondering how manufacturing is progressing, is it likely I will have the wheel in the 3 weeks? The reason I am asking, is I am about to move, and may need to change the shipping address.

Will this new lubricant help with stiction issues arising from fine dust? Is any sort of dust boot possible? That seems to be my last concern you have yet to address. This wheel is defiantly on my short list.

The good news is the 3D model of their mudguard is available, and the mudguard tip is easily swappable, so the community will be able to easily design and make a better one!

Let's take as an example our craftsmen who made full-fledged "casings" for the s22 and master wings that completely cover the arch from dirt.. That's the protection you need.. and what you're offering sucks

Plus, I’m just using it as an example. Nothing’s stopping anyone with the means to design and create stuff with higher quality materials.
Why not just leave more space between the top of the sliders and the controller mount? Then you wouldn’t need to rely only on the block to keep them from touching.
You did a drop to flat with no air in the shock to compress the block in this video. It still had room too. I rode trails all day and never got it to compress. It simply feels completely different than being supported by the air shock. It’s like going from compressing a nice air spring to a compressing a brick. Making clearance for the screws is definitely going to improve things.
If it was not for your efforts these things would not have been likely addressed at all. You did well. Nosfet is doing extremely well in providing its feedback. I see a strong future for this company.
As explained in the video, the block is here to protect the shock, so the idea is that it makes contact before the shock uses it's own. Additionally if we made the gap larger, the APEX controller would sit higher up, and so far this current distance from pedal to top of cover is already at max before discomfort for riders. No compressing the block 100% is a good thing as it protects the wheel, reaching 100% compression of the block all the time is not a good thing. Yes, the screws will now be avoid on the block.
@@nosfet_techas explained in the video, without the block the sliders would hit the controller mount. The shocks bump stop is 3mm not 15mm+ so that is not really anything to mention. There is one real reason and the rest are only added to make it sound better in my opinion.
@@nosfet_tech I understand why you would prefer a fool-proof option of having a larger damper to avoid users that set height/pressure too low having hardware collisions on drops. But I think you should give experienced riders (who know what they're doing) an option of having more effective travel by installing a smaller damper, probably 10-15mm at the top of the travel.

Hey! Thank you for the feedback! It might be a bug, one of the drafts we sent out to a rider also experienced this bug, it seems like our audio levels on export and played through different devices had good audio volume. Could it be a bug?
@@nosfet_tech Are you asking if it's a bug on my end or your end? ;p I'm also testing playing this on my desktop, and this video audio levels are noticeably low compared to other youtube videos while listening on my Audeze Maxwell headset. Seems like a problem with the uploaded video to me.
@@nosfet_tech Just because you can hear your audio on a certain device, doesn't mean there aren't audio issues. I'm guessing you're not an audio guy. Listen to your audio levels relative to other RUclips videos, the problem should be obvious. Just hire a proper video editor please, they can fix this issue very easily. Fixing audio levels should be part of any edit/export pipeline.

I'm listening to it on my iPad and the video volume is perfect and pretty much normal compared to other videos.
