A TV performance of a track from Hue and Cry's second album "Remote". From the children's programme "What's That Noise" originally broadcast on 2 December 1988.
I had completely forgotten about this song and have just listened to it for the first time since the summer of '89, when Remote was one of only two cassettes I had while working abroad. Funny to hear these lyrics now - a song about very early and primitive social networking on computers! Its subject matter washed over me back then in those computer illiterate days of my youth.
Thank you for sharing this Wonderful song.. This is new to me, a rare gem methinks... I love it anyway, on first hearing its grabbed me, absolutely. I love the way Pat plays around when delivering it live

It's a 'Hue and Cry' these guys didn't have more air play.

Brecker's Tenor Solo on Playback....LOVE IT!
Beautiful beautiful song - but why is Frankie Dettori playing guitar in the background ?
He rode in on Sarah Jessica Parker, She had an interview next door.
Heart and throb
It's a shame Michael Brecker couldn't actually be in the studio with them.
Pat Kane era veramente bello.
Do you have any Then Jerico performances from WTN?
big chess boards - very popular in the late 80s
duke nukem on backing vocals
Slight latin vibe at the end....but before that became popular
