I tend to side with Wanda's being the worst, but it's mainly because of all the people that Bucky killed..they weren't his loved ones. Wanda killed the person that she loved most in the world. Then have that end in abject failure and have to watch him resurrected and die again. Then yet again along with her children. Wanda keeps losing the people she loves. Not to say Bucky's life has been a picnic either. He's been mentally eviscerated. I'm just saying I'd rather have the blood of strangers on my hands than my loved ones. All and all I'm glad not to have either of their lives.

It comes more down to what you identify with more. I'd be more wrecked if knowing killed a loved one than if I was manipulated into killing multiple strangers. What breaks my heart the most is realizing the whole series, how not only him, but other people as well, like for example: John Walker, his therapist and even Zemo, DO NOT treat him like a victim. HYDRA has thousands of victims, but people seem to forget that Bucky wasn't a person for them, he was a slave, a weapon and being away from HYDRA doesn't make him free. His traumas are still there.
I've come to the realization that between the love I have for Dean Winchester and the love I have for Bucky Barnes and my desire to save them, help them heal... that one day I'll accept that I'm not only utterly insane because I'm in love with fictional characters, but that one day I'll be reminded of the fact that I'll never be able to save them and I'll legitimately die from heartbreak.
