    Found it much easier to refit the spring clip by starting at the bottom (with join at the top) - once a third of it is in place, you can "stand up" from the knees to stretch the spring back over the drum. Much easier than trying to pull it down as shown in the vid. Hope this helps, and many thanks for the brilliant video 👍

    I almost was going to call a company to fit it up, but the explanation in this video helped me (fitting the inner and outer lips is the key) everything fixed together easily after that. Thanks!

    Thank you so much, the metal spring and wire had come off mine, and I've just managed to put it back together, I was panicking thinking I'd have to buy a new machine.

    Watched the video and then did a lot of pausing as I wasn’t as quick 😅 excellent tutorial and now doesn’t leak 👍

    I have been stressing for 3 days having removed the door seal, could not get the bugger back on. Considered getting an engineer to sort and fit the new lock but you are a hero. Just went downstairs and tried your method from the video, the springy round coil is a bitch but all done. thank you so much. J

    Great. Very useful, real-world, practical guide. Getting front panel off was slightly different on my model but the seal basics were identical. Many thanks. Was a massive help!

    Thank you!!! i was about to buy a new washing machine this morning because i pulled the seal all the way out while stupidly trying to clean it and not knowing it has a back tight ring as well, i saw your video and i have a different brand machine but it was enough for me ,,, thanks again for your video! worth gold i was looking for a clip in Hebrew (live in Israel) but they all have a lame explanation with a bad camera angle

    Many Thanks for this vid! I'm about to do this task soon. Wash liquid and pointing out the locating arrows very good tip! Just a thought - would the handles of two spoons (used like tyre levers) be useful in siting the inner spring? It looked like your fingers were nearly garrotted!

      There will be screws under the front of the machine and possibly one behind the filter flap

    Does this work for all beko models? I hope so. Other videos take the top of the washer off and I don’t want to have to do that due or it’s location

    • @servisslimline
      @servisslimline  Год назад

      Older bekos yes, current ones have a slightly different front that you need to take the lid and fascia off to remove

  • @Laundrylad2010

    Is it possible to do it without taking the front panel off?

    Why does your spring seal go on so easy at the end? My beko machine has such a tight spring seal I can't get it back on

    I'm struggling to get the circle spring back on. I am pretty close, but it keeps pulling the seal out. Any tips on technique?

    • @servisslimline
      @servisslimline  3 года назад +1

      Washing up liquid, work slow or have someone hold it in one side while you do the other, otherwise use a couple of tiny flat blade screwdrivers to help lever it on

    Think £50 I've been quoted to fit a new one will be money well spent!
