Acer just released a couple of quite affordable wifi 7 systems (connect t7 / x7). It would be awesome to see a valid source challenging the performance of those systems. Is there any chance you could challenge those?
Hi mate - great vid again! I have a wifi 5 Eero 3 pack system at the moment and about to replace the gateway with either a wifi 6 or 7 (I have a lot of devices including audio visual so upgrade needed). I am very confused whether I should buy the Eero Pro 6 or 7 (or other). I looked at your "which wifi video" but it's old and about wifi 5 or 6. What would you do with a 1Gb ISP? I am happy to spend 500-800 to future proof the gateway so I can build around it, but heaps of people think it's a waste. Any thoughts?
If you want to keep your existing eero, then you could do that. I personally would get a 3 pack Deco BE63. I’ve done videos on that one, I would just replace all your eeros with a 3 pack BE63 and you will be amazed at how much better it is. It’s WiFi 7 so it’s future proof for a while.
@@landpetthanks. So you’d say get out of eero eco system? I love the simplicity but hate it all goes through eero site with no manual control. I can’t afford 3 of these devices, but you are saying get the gateway and expand from there? I could always bridge eeros in the short term.
Tough decision since I really like both for the solid performance. The major advantage of the Archer is the price which could definitely sway me to pick the Archer.
@@landpet so price is basically the main thing that says your decision? I currently am coming off a archer BE11000 from best buy not the mesh units but the stand alone that is shaped like a X and has so many issues with it, swapped with a BT 96U and it's alright but it's massive and I'm having firmware issues even on Merlin firmware such as once I set up a MLO network I can't log back into the main smart connect SSID and also can't log into the router while on theMLO network and various other quirks so now I'm kinda eyeing the ge800
It’s a gaming router , it’s better to review it playing online games / Cloud gaming while utilizing the network with other devices Downloading / Streaming with MLO / No MLO , bcz download / upload speeds are the same on all routers and does not tell all the story.
TLDR: I had zero issues with anything, no lag, no nothing with my family members using it as well. Thanks for the suggestion but I keep my testing the same so it can be a one to one comparison between routers so people can see a difference. The other thing is, my Internet is fast so pretty much nothing lags (download or upload), even if I got a router that can handle gigabit or 2.5 gigabit, it still wouldn't lag. Ping may be slightly worse on the slower connections but in general me playing a game with this or another router, it wouldn't be much of a difference with the Internet speeds I'm paying for. I also run this as my main router and test with it in addition to doing normal stuff I do like uploading videos, watching streaming and my family is doing this as well. So if there's an issue, either I see it or someone will tell me. If so, I mention that in the video. If I don't mention it, it usually means everything was fine. Essentially my goal is to make the video as short as possible while delivering the most value. My videos used to be longer and most people prefer shorter videos with as much info as possible.
Both good, I’ve finished the be800 as well just need to edit the video and post. I personally prefer the look of this one over the be800. Can’t go wrong either way, both were good during testing
It’s probably my favorite router as of now. I declared it the winner in this new video: TP-Link Archer WiFi 7 Routers Compared! (BE9300, BE550, GE800, BE800, BE900) ruclips.net/video/5gB7sS9eW7A/видео.html Im going to compare all the fast WiFi 7 routers in a new video and so far the GE800 is looking really good.

Also just a question. In all your vids and test. Is it bridged/ppoe or dynamic?
Dynamic
I saw both your reviews on the BE24000 and GE800. Would you recommend one or the other?
Both very good, for some reason I prefer the GE800

How would you compare this Router to the ASUS - ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro BE30000?
TP-Link have new firmware 1x per 3 yeras :D ...
which would you personally choose, this or the ASUS RT BE96U

There is no such thing as a gaming router. It's a marketing gimmick. If you want a real router, look up Unifi and OpenWRT
I'm debating between be800 and this. I have a 1gb speed down and 1gb speed up.. 20+ devices

Thank you ❤@@landpet
I compare your video with GE98 pro. Found this routee beat GE98 pro with nearly every aspect and it is cheaper😂

Apparently, you’re not the only one to think that. I’ve received that comment several times.
